when you get older and wish you still had the guns mom and dad got you, they will be priceless.... trust me on this, from personal experience. I traded off the only firearm anyone had ever bought for me and regret it... granted, I did it to get my brother a gun, but none the less, I regret it.

Questions on a Remington 280 rifle
firstcoueswas80 replied to Shooter McGavin's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Lark, You are completely correct. But, something that has stumped me for years is, to bullet manufacturers, that .007" has made a gin if difference for high quality, high BC bullets. Now, there's not much a 140 Accubond won't kill, but the 7mm 160 accubond just trumps it! -
These binos are legit!

Jacob, Excellent! Great job Jill on being the good luck charm!

I love my timneys. I've never understood the reasoning behind a expensive jewel, unless the desired trigger pull is a pound or less.

Accuracy and bullet type before velocity. -
Remove anything worth anything. With out knowing the law, I would suggest getting the truck as close to factory as possible. Wheels, system, tuner/programmer etc.

** SOLD ***Weaver Grand Slam 10x32 Binoculars New in box WTS / WTT sell for $175
firstcoueswas80 replied to hoghntr's topic in Classified Ads
Where did you buy them from that sent the wrong binos? That's a new one to me! -
That's pretty much the exact load I shoot in my 257. Little bit of advice on my end though... That bullet is going 3400+ fps, there's really no need to zero at 300. If you zero at 150 or 200, you can still hood in issue out to about 330 in pigs and about 400 on deer and make vital area kills. Nice piggy, them and the 257 are great matches
