Hornady interbond or nosler accubond
firstcoueswas80 replied to swaro06's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
What your rifle prefers, but me personally, given all things equal I'd prefer the nosler. -
Because you're very obviously trying to throw stones that are unwarranted. And I will 100% disagree that the tail is the "only way" to tell. Face, head ears, body size etc. Plus, how do you know know he glassed it up bedding and not watched him bed, made his move and killed him? Oh, I know, you're ASSuming.

Wtf are you talking about?? It's not that difficult to identify a whitetail in whitetail country... Killer buck, nicely done.
-
Killed my buck last year in carhartts. I have a pair of camo ones to that I really like.

I love javelina hunting because it's about the only hunt where I don't care if I kill or not. Of course the goal is A filled tag, but I don't get upset or frustrated like I can on a unsuccessful deer hunt.

Who cares what he scores that buck is awesome!!!!

December hunt, new to coues but not to hunting
firstcoueswas80 replied to moorehunter86's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
First, don't plan on rut. Maybe a little prerut, mostly by the little guys. In my experience, most of the bucks will have swollen necks, but won't be actively pursuing does.. most of the deer I've either killed or been in on the kill in December have been with or very near other bucks. In fact, the biggest buck I've seen on a December hunt was with about 19 other deer, 6 other bucks. -

You're also 500 years older then me, a far superior banjo player, and have fewer teeth than my 20 month old son. A buck not pictured was killed at 525 yards with a 100gr ttsx from my 257 wby. Starting them at 3500 fps, they sure fly sweet and tend to be instant death. -

I've managed to kill a few things with ttsx, no penciling through here.... Roughly 1/2 to 2/3 of the critters -
Correct.

Gladden farms, tangerine west of the ten. Should be quite a few houses involved. We have tons of kid stuff, somee camo, etc. I live in tare ln, look for the white dodge and come say hello!
