I wouldn't really call it a mechanical myself... I tried the phat head last year and really wanted to use them, but I couldn't get the accuracy. They consistently out penetrated the slick tricks I did go with.

Of course it's not necessary, but I like to practice how I play and it paid off come game day.

Accubond, nothing else is even close.

Don't forget optics, packs, range finders etc and where you'll hang them off your body. I did three days of the sunrise shoot in full camo, pack on and shooting from my quiver.... after that, I put two lethal hits on my bull in less than 10 seconds from kneeling.

I drive from Tucson to casa grande 5 days a week, have driven through some horrendous weather. One thing I've noticed... many many many truck drivers barrel through like they are impervious to foul weather.

i dont know what it is about the Montec, but i have heard more horror stories with that specific head, from trusted sources than anything else. Which puzzles me because its a great design.
