    Glock 27 FS

Let me check with a buddy, but I'll most likely take this. He's been looking for one.
  4. This is my dads rifle. I believe it to be from 2003, RMEF edition Remington Model 700 7 RUM in cartridge. My dad has owned this rifle since new, and I did the load development. Other then load development and killing two coues deer with it, it has not been shot much. I would say 100-150 rounds MAX through the rifle. It shoots well with 86-86.5 grains of H4831sc with 140 Nosler Accubonds, as that is all that has been fired through the rifle. I will see if I can dig up some targets, but MOA or better as I recall. The scope is a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40 Long Range with the 30mm tube and Boone and Crockett reticle. The scope does show a few dings from when my dad took a spill, but he shot a deer with it not 30 minutes later, and outside of a few scratches and dings (pictured as best I could) the scope is like new. The rifle does have the notorious sticky pad Remingtons of this era are known for, as well as the Jlock. As stated earlier, looking for $1150, shipped from Non-FFL to FFL. Here is a target at .677" with the 140 Accubond, H4831sc and fed 215GMM.

    Reload accessory tips?

I really like RCBS stuff and stay away from Frankford arsenal, it's been nothing but crap. I also really like digital calipers.
  13. My personal $.02 on that, for what its worth and I know its not much... I think if there was a date set from the beginning, that would PROBABLY help some people get their donations in up front, but I've never been called a scholar so take it for what its worth.

    Colt files Bankruptcy

While I am not extremely experienced with Colt firearms, I have owned a few and I have put more than a few rounds down range with a Colt M4, but to say they "ALL" suck is a inaccurate statement. Now, the current stuff.... I'll tend to agree it's not what it used to be (not much is anymore). When you're looking in to the series 70 1911's, the Python, Anaconda, Police Positive and the M4's I am and have been familiar with, SUCK does not fit in to the conversation.

    Marlin Model 60 22LR

My all time favorite .22 rifle. My cousins and I put enough lead through my late grandfathers to.... Well, I cant think of anything, put we shot it a TON. I now have a stainless version in my safe I plan on letting my son do the same with. Fantastic rifle! I never knew why these don't fetch the money 10/22's do as they are as much, if not more the rifle then the 10/22's are.

Ron, in my opinion the pistol isn't only fir close shots, but multiple assailants, or multiple shots.
