Let's talk barrel length
firstcoueswas80 replied to Tac's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
In my 28 Nosler, it takes 5.75 MOA to reach 500 yards. If I drop the the muzzle velocity 100 feet per second it takes 6.17. At 1000, it is 18.64, and then 20.01 with the reduced muzzle velocity. -
I saw Jordan/Pippen and the 3peat bulls play in Chicago when I was a kid. One of the highlights of my childhood.

What broadhead brotherhood member is this?
firstcoueswas80 replied to trphyhntr's topic in The Campfire
That's probably Bingham himself. I could definitely see him thinking of himself that way! -
Scenar's... what have you killed?
firstcoueswas80 replied to muledeerarea33?'s topic in The Campfire
did they expand, cavitate, hit bone and kill by shrap? Just curious what to expect. One was shot into a mature coues deer at 342 yards. That one entered but did not access it and the deer was dead instantly. I do not remember what the internal damage look like. Another was a javelina at 200 that accident with a golf ball-sized exit. -
143 ELDX gets a big thumbs up

Heck of buck! -
Their final out was similar to the Diamondbacks. Have your stud up in a decent situation and he strikes out to end the game. Now that's a disappointment! Would have been interesting to see Harper get on and see what Ryan Zimmerman was able to do.

I personally think that scope shoud stay on through December.... -
Buying new, vs buying USED at near new prices are different things. Kinda like selling a $70,000 truck with 5k miles for $68,500.

Would this happen to be on private property? What's that little box/meter looking thing that's blurred out in the right side?

The perfect pack for hunting coues.
firstcoueswas80 replied to COA's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Best pack with weight I've ever worn is a badlands 2200. I use an Outdoorsman for deer hunting. -
Your kids have better gear then I do!

Bullet trajectory question
firstcoueswas80 replied to bonecollector777's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Assuming you're using turrets, just change where your turret is set and go with it -
Looking for a pair for a reasonable price.
