I've always wanted to call in a bull elk and have my dad kill it, no matter the size. A few years ago, in 4b we had a 270ish bull come to about 10-15 yards on a tank. My dad stepped on a twig as he was drawing and the bull ran off. After that I thought my dad was going to fall over he was shaking so bad. One of my top 5 all time hunting memories.

It does stink, stay far far away We were talking about Big Lake, not ASU, but that can be said for both places.

My grandpa always loved Big Lake. I always thought Big Lake sucked.

Africa. Like how Ruark, Capstick, and Roosevelt experienced it.

I always take my AR with me for the same reason... accept for last week. And wouldnt you know it. A coyote stood there looking at me at 60 yards. Grazed his back hairs with my XD40. Yes KC, but is it a "custom AR" or a cheap POS that shoots awesome??? LMFAO/ I couldn't resist....Thanks for your service Amigo Its mixed and matched. Spikes lower, RRA national match trigger, ace skeleton stock, Tony's custom upper (if I recall correctly). Indicentially, it was my graduation gift to myself when I graduated the academy. -

Wife and I have been really watching the diet. I'm down about 13 pounds or so. Scale said less than 300# for the first time in a while this morning. That was nice. Been nursing a back injury for a few weeks, but I'll be doing laps in the pool today and ramping up my cardio soon.

Full custom = ground up. Semi custom = barrel, stock, trigger and action work. -
I was in 36b this weekend. Everything was nice and green, however I was very surprised to see that the tanks were still pretty empty.

The Gun Doctor in Casa Grande has done good work for me, but I'm not sure he does what you're asking about.

x2 on anything by L'Amour. Also William Johnstone's series' "The 1st Mountain Man" and "The Last Mountain Man", they tie in together. As far as history I really liked The Apache Wars. https://www.amazon.com/Apache-Wars-Geronimo-Captive-American/dp/0770435831 I read it on a fishing trip in Northern Canada while I still lived back east and I loved it, it's 10X better now that I can actually put places to the names. Stolen World is pretty good too, it's about illegal reptile smuggling in the 60's and 70's https://www.amazon.com/Stolen-World-Reptiles-Smugglers-Skulduggery/dp/B00AZ82KD2 Good call and William Johnstone. Another one of my grandfather's favorites. I have read a few of his books as well. -

Rez turkeys...totally different species. Man they have everything on that rez if they'd only start managing the game and issuing some non-tribal tags they could do very well. I'd pay a really really shiny pretty penny to Predator call here for a weekend!

I saw some turkey tracks in the middle of the desert right by the border, about 20 miles west of the Babos about a year ago.

6.5 WSM or 6.5 SAUM?

Who dials up by 60-70 clicks anymore? 2002 called, they want their technology back. -
The first episode I had with the trans sensor was 2009. I didn't have a DTC analyzer at the time. I took the truck to a shop in Sahuarita close to where I used to live, and paid them a diagnostic fee. They said it was the Trans speed sensor. They also qouted me 3-4 hours to fix it, at a cost of over $300.00. I drove next door to Autzone, paid $20 for the part, and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. That shop was ripping off the Green Valley retirees, and they must have thought I was another sucker. Brake max on Thornydale tried that with me. Motor mounts for my commuter car, $400+. Walked next door to merels, $125 and paid someone $50 for install. $400+ rotors/pads on my truck. $160 next door and a 30 pack to my best friend.

Some very mechanically inclined minds here. I'm lucky I know how go change the oil, filter, and change a tire.

Say what? Best I can tell: Theres no difference but the speed. Speed doesnt matter. He shoots one of the fastest of that caliber. -
