The upgraded transmission i have in there now rocks. Tows very well. Trailer is even a little bigger than i would like from a bumper pull so it can feel slightly unstable, but the truck pulls it very well.

I hunt out of my truck and take it on some fairly rough roads. The center caps would not last long if they were left on there. They are sitting in my garage.

96. Was on there when I bought it. Chicks dig the (fake) hood scoop.

Not many options like that in an 07 with the 5.9L.

I remember when I was in college at NAU. NASTY storm was coming. Went to work at Home Depot and they tried hard as they could to shut the store down. But they needed corporate approval.... corporate was in Florida.... request denied..... Middle of the GD storm ONE dude walks in..... What home improvement project is THAT damnn important?

I certainly wouldnt tow that much with a 3/4. I had plenty (too many) tranny issues. I had it FIXED a few years back. New electronics, kevlar bands, billet input/output shafts. Have towed the trailer fully loaded to unit 1 and unit 10 with no issues.

A crap ton. I'm honestly not sure. I've found dry weights in the 9,000-11,000 area online.

Hunting clothing apparel company and 0 camo? Market research missed that one....

The sad part is, this thing fully loaded (160 gallons fresh water) probably weighs as much, or close to your guys' tandem loads.

I have a 2007 3/4 dodge diesel. Ive been very happy with the offroad ride, especially after I installed Bilstein shocks. Only had an issue one time when my dumbass decided to Ford a river.... if it was Oregon Trail, the game would have been over. Straight front axel fords will rattle your fillings out of your teeth. Avoid at all costs.

Not a 25-06, but I'd consider selling my custom 257 wby.

Factory 28 nosler suggestions
firstcoueswas80 replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
My wife prefers shooting my 28 with a break on it to shooting my 257 Weatherby. -
I was lucky, I got my rifle built in his early days. Love this rifle and he has been good to me.

Trust me, I've known for years I'm obnoxious and annoying.

Especially when its built by your cousin!

Spending someone else's money is always a good time! I just don't understand the reasoning for pushing him away from a gun that he wants, towards a gun that you want. Assuming of course he can afford it excetera. -
This is like a whoopie cushion. Funny the first 1000 times, but time, 1001 its just obnoxious, pointless, and annoying.

With all due respect, buying/building a rifle is a fairly or can be a fairly personal quest. You seem to be heavily pushing for what you think/want over what he thinks/wants. Why is that?
