I'm also left eye dominate and shoot right. As a child it was much more natural feeling to shoot left but my father made me shoot right. Guess he didn't want to buy left-handed shotguns.

Jeez...he looks 2x bigger in the field photos vs laying on the couch. Amazing buck

Big Ole Boar the old fashioned way!
high rise hunter replied to AZLance's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
That is freakin awesome! I've spent a total of 0.5 day hunting bear in 35A. I seriously need to find a way to commit more time to this. -
Kowa twin 664 spotters. Rarely used, in excellent condition. Adam's adapter bracket. Comes with original boxes, custom carrying case, and additional variable eyepiece. $2250 TYD and I'll ship insured.

Tremendous bull. Look how much mass there still is at the end of the beam where he's holding.

I think I'll be able to throw away my Inreach sooner than later! Awesome news. Did a little more digging on this and iOS 18 coming this fall 2024 is going to have the iPhone satellite texting capabilities. Will work on iPhone 14 and newer models.

Glad I could help. I'm going to be waiting on this one as well. It will eventually fully release in US. No need to watch the full video but the first 2 minutes give a good idea what the mini will be capable of:

I can't wait for Starlink to connect to my phone so I can throw away my InReach. The new Starlink mini does looks like a legit addition to truck camp.

On Thursday driving I-40 just on the NM side of the border I drove through a huge downpour. Good to see as it's been bone dry.

Hard to go wrong with the BTX. I have dual Kowa spotters but the BTX are just so comfortable to look through that I pack them everywhere, despite the lack of performance.

Beautiful county in the 17s. Get ready for some long hikes and steep climbs. Bring big glass.

That drake cinny is dreamy! Been hoping to jump one of those for years now. -

The Halon 32 became my backup bow when I picked up the Lift--that bow has treated me well. Bare bow for $1600? You should be able to get a way better price than that. Check with Mav at Bull Basin Archery up in Flag. -

I also picked up the new Lift this year although the 29.5" version. It's a sweet shooting rig. On my last Mathews I did run a back bar but I with the new integrated bridge lock system and quiver that sits so tight to the riser my Lift balances well without the need of a back bar. I do have a front stabilizer though-- I like a bow to tip forward after the shot. -
Looks like he did a decent job. Maybe just left the tendies but hard to tell.

Deadline to update credit cards looks to be set for next week, Tuesday the 20th. So when will the charges start to hit?

Got room in the boat?

The early hunt was 13 points, December hunt took 17.

Draw Results Come Early this Year?!!
high rise hunter replied to high rise hunter's topic in Elk Hunting
Sadly, very true. I remember when I first started applying having 10-12 points seemed like a lot. Now that number is more like 18+. Eventually lightning will strike but it will likely be a long road. -
