Good observation! Same here, I was wondering why I wasn't seeing all the "Expired" posts.
-
You guys did amazing on a very tough hunt! Congrats!
-
Yep, post a pic.
-
Someone should post Noah's number, I can't find it.
-
I've used both Ron and Noah, can't go wrong with either of them.
-
Much newer than mine. Ha! Do the pics have to download/save first or can you just view the card? What bonecollector said.
-
It's not a new one, the model # is MD523LL/A Apple iPad 4th Gen.
-
I use an iPad with the adaptor. I tried the adaptor with my iPhone 5 and it didn't work.

Woody, the weather is something great! As for the sawsall, I have to tell you I repaired tools for almost 20 years and as long as your seals are good nothing gets in the motor. Now if they aren't good you would have grease flying out as you use it. Love the rain!
-
Woody, don't know what your dad did with the sawsall, the blades the only thing that gets mucked up.
-
I always try to remember the cordless sawsall! Great tool for elk. Didn't have on the last couple of cows this year and missed it!
-
That's exactly what I thought. As for a salvage tag, the only person that can get that is the one that hit it. I can see the reasoning, but still it's a shame.

Passed this at 5:15 AM and thought it was someone parked along hwy for the hunt, didn't see the elk. Truck was there till probably 4:00 PM. Never saw highway patrol or anyone investigating. Both airbags are deployed, have no idea where everyone went.

Good groups, should work. Now you just need something to shoot at.
-
Well?? Does it shoot?
-
I use this with shooting sticks under the butt of the gun. Dead solid.

How do you narrow down your hunting spot ??
Elkaddict replied to no worries's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Like JLW said glassing is the key. Finding your vantage spots is where I have always spent most of my time. Vantage spots where you can see tons of country , then sit down and pick it apart. -
Been using the: Baofeng UV5R Radios since May. Verdict is still out, seems most of the problems are operator error. Plus you better have a degree in something radio related to be able to program them, luckily I have a friend who has that degree program mine.

Didn't even know they made elk calls back then. Ha Ha, yep. The old pipe whistle.
-
Love hearing them growl, first bull I ever called in,some 40 years ago, I thought was a coyote.
-
We've seen this track on a waterhole and road over a period of a couple of weeks. Looks bigger than a coyote. Maybe some of you lion guys can say yes or no. Thanks
-
I see it on my coffee table every day! Love the pics and stories!
-
Good eye! You can recognize my chewed up tread!

The shoes are actually Salewa, but good guess.

Yes it is.... but he is asking for info leading up to his 22 south muzzy hunt that he is helping a friend with. You're right , missed that part.
