Planned on 4 full days of fishing but boat problems on the 3rd morning forced us to cut our trip short. Excellent food and accomodations at the lake. Can't wait to go back, I've been going to Oviachi since 1980 and the fishing now is the best it's ever been!!

Here's a buck I first saw in August 2006. I got a couple of photos then and a few more over the next couple of months. I didn't see him in 2007. In 2008 I saw him while scouting for elk but didn't get any photos. The next time I saw him was the end of February 2009. He had aged quite a bit, grey muzzle and just a swayback appearance in general. He was with a real nice buck, a good buck, and 2 small bucks. In the spring of 2007 and again in 2009 I thought I knew where he lived and figured I had a good shot at finding his horns.......No luck yet on any of them. Here's the video. Mule Deer Bucks
