Looking for someone with 20 bonus points or more for deer
Elkaddict replied to roninflag's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
When the bonus point system started deer wasn't included, it was added later. Have no idea when, thus the difference in max points, -
Hunted a day last year with a guy that had a suit, not the same brand . It was a riot !! If I hunted antelope with a bow I would deffenitly buy this suit, I think you're wasting your time without one. Of course you can sit water but I've posted before on my feelings of sitting and staring at a waterhole.....BORING... anyway my .02. We had bucks come charging in with me walking beside him just in camos. Fun!! As far as someone shooting you...???? Really??

This one feature set this site apart from all of the rest. It was soo much easier to get caught up and follow threads, you just picked up right where you left off after clicking on "New Content". Now, well, it's just as frustrating as all the others. No disrespect meant to the hard-working folks that make this site one of the best out there, but a few of us (atleast) are REALLY missing that feature! As far as I can see its the dot to the left of the topic that when you mouse over says"first unread post"

http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32517 Here's the thread that is probably the most followed on this topic. I would like to hear anything new that people that have been up have experienced. As I said before, Memorial Day weekend will be interesting!

You can google that and read the results, looks like you have to convert the files through another program first???? -

I use Roxio Creator 2010. You can get it for under $100 and seems to do everything I want it to. -
Wow ! Looks like alot of birds in that area! Congrats!

Since I've had a couple of comments on the coues tree I need to tell about its origin.About 10 years ago I found this neat piece of wood, I think its part of a citrus tree root but not sure and told my wife one day I was going to make a lamp out of it. I had some coues skulls and put a couple on it. Over the years I have added and changed skulls. Needless to say my wife didn't get the lamp .

Interesting topic, I'll start by saying I love sheds! The ones I don't have on display in one fashion or another are in a pile I move around on occasion till I find a use for them. Here's some I have. Framing my front door. Just Hanging Wall Hanging Lights Artsy Stuff Wind Chime Door bell and door handle And not sheds but what I call my Coues tree. Like I said at the start "I love sheds!"

I would like to think I will be part of the solution, if by solution you mean complying with the new rules. I would expect more from the forest service like marking roads closed, and since they spent last summer marking every road in the forest(usable or not!) they have all the posts in the ground already. How hard would it be for them to put a closed sticker on them! I was walking a closed road this morning and there was a camp on it, 2 familys, kids, dogs, etc. I waved and went on my way, what would you do?

Congrats on the bird!

I think if you don't follow one of the hunting forums you wouldn't know about the rule change. There is a flashing sign at Cllints Well but there isn't one on 87 if you're coming up from Payson. There's a ton of country from the strawberry to Clints well that people can get into the forest without seeing a sign. Also if they see the sign it doesn't explain anything. Just says New rules in effect May 1. I haven't seen anything on any local news stations. Like I've said before, Memorial day weekend is going to be something. On another note, I too have been walking closed roads the last week or so and haven't walked one yet that didn't have vehicle tracks on it.
