Eagle River Fly Fishing 6.15.12
Elkaddict replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Our grandkids live in Edwards, might have to make a trip !! -
Been using them for a few years, great maps ! I have AZ and Colo. on my PC and load what I need into my Garmin 60C. I've been recommending gpsfiledepot for quite awhile. Can't go wrong, just follow their instructions.

Here's my grandkids, Zach and Trevor, with their bows. Thanks to Bull Basin Archery in Flagstaff for taking the time to set them up. At 3 and 4 years old I would bet that not many of you started that early! Check out the video. I was around 21 years old when I first shot a real bow. How about others out there , you , your kids. grandkids? They love shooting. Be fun to watch them over the next few years to see the progression. They are currently living in Colorado so won't get a lot of practice this year.

2 elusive critters in one shot! What are the odds !

Loved it!!

Perfct bow for them! And they will use it for many years, very adjustable. Right now they have a 15" draw and are pulling 8 1/2 lbs. I hold the bow while they nock the arrow but then they pull and release on their on, fun to watch!

Good name, not really ugly though! Another nice video!

Got this in an email, not sure of its veracity but looks real to me. Caption said "Missoula, Montana early 1900's"

Great stories and pictures!!

Neat photo!!

The forest service needs to post the names of the people and what the fine (if any) was levied. Stiff fines and peer pressure might help.

How about posting a picture of your european mount and maybe a little "how to" with it.

Nice collection! Looks like you're going to have to put on a room addition at the rate you're going!

Unreal sheds! How long ago did your dad find them? Was the buck ever killed? Neat knowing those genes are out there.

OK, so what are you going to do? You know the road is closed and you want to walk in but you see truck/atv tracks on it...do you drive in because everyone else is? Or take your chances that no one is in there now, and walk?I would really like to know what people are going to do. Seems as though the camping regs wouldn't be that hard to enforce, of course if they ( FS) work Mon - Fri / 8 to 5 they might not catch many illegal campers.

Yes, you can carry your stuff as far as you want. On the Coconino it's 300' from designated roads and 30' from all other open roads that are not designated for camping.

You're welcome! And my thanks goes out to all the othere vets out there!
