My 4 and 5 year old grand kids are waiting for the day they can chase a rabbit! Way to go!

Giant fish! Congrats to the boys!

The bowtech diamond atomic is a great bow for a beginner. My grand kids started a year ago at the age of 3 and 4. Unfortunately they only get to practice a couple of times a year( they live in CO). Right now I think they are set at 15" draw at about 8# draw weight. These bows will go to 24" draw and 30#s. Costly to start but should take them to teenage years .

2 cams stolen does any one know this set up?
Elkaddict replied to Buckhunter's topic in Trail Cameras
How would one hide a cam? Can't bury it in a tree branches....anything that moves sets off the shutter. Bury in wood pile, where no water is, on a trail? I'm with you. If you're out hiking and see a chunk of salt or a hole where salt used to be the first thing you look for is where's the camera. -
They could close all the forests for the same reason! Trees that might fall! Really!

Great looking mount and pedestal. Saw a bull last year with its horn out his forehead, weird.

Sounds like a "survivor" version of an elk hunt!

I'll be waiting for the zoomed in photo with maybe some arrows or circles. -
Nice bulls you guys got! Sucks about the one you found.

How much is a citation? I reported an illegal fire last week in the coconino, in the juniper/pine mix area. Very dry up here! Also woke to smoke in the area on Sunday morning, heard it was a fire by Blue Ridge.

I get the same thing when I try to change my location, says google maps can't find. It's Happy Jack, AZ , not to hard. I think it has to do with my computer. I try every few weeks and get the same error message.

All great finds! Thanks for posting, love Indian artifacts!

Don't know about the smartphone map but do know I have never got it to work on my garmin 60. As far as the roads being marked closed its ridiculous . Most of these are good looking roads, not trails. And they are signed with road #'s and in some cases they have forest service signs telling you mileage to places up ahead or "road is not maintained use at your own risk"! If they would just put a road closed sticker on the vertical signs they put on all the roads a couple of years ago, it would be a start for those that want to abide by the rule. The vertical sign is already there, can't cost too much to put a sticker on it.

Didn't have a tag this year but talked a friend into bringing his son up to try our luck with the turkeys. Heard gobbling every morning but always something would happen that prevented us from sealing the deal. Here's a short video of some of our experiences.

Congrats, you really had them figured out!

When I was a kid I had a neighbor that had bass heads nailed to the front of his workshop . Looked kind of neat! Hadn't even thought of it till I read this post!
