With the general hunts you're hunting along side guys with guns, archery at that time has always been legal. Guess they just wanted to clarify the use of a crossbow .
-
If you're referencing this "Allow the use of a crossbow for the take of big game for all general big game seasons*;" it's for the general season not archery.

Ha Ha! Came to Phoenix and missed the rain! The neighbor said it was unreal!

Beautiful ! Where are you? We have relatives in Edwards, CO, I think you mentioned fishing the Eagle river in one of your other posts. Need to get up there and get into the action, hopefully next year! -
^^^^what they said. Have a friend with a bad arm that did that a couple of years ago. Take the dr's note to game and fish and they give you a sticker or card or both that you carry with you.

I love float tubes, bass fishing or trout. Nice quiet way to fish. It depends on how deep you want to get into this, check these out at cabelas. http://www.cabelas.com/category/Float-Tubes/104335380.uts. You can go simple to start and if you like it get into the ones I think they call pontoons, they are around $700, very neat way to fish. That link doesn't appear to work, just go to cabelas and search, sorry.

I along with GMauro spend a lot of time in 5a, I have the archery bull tag this year. All I can say is you should have a lot of fun! I can't wait! Our rains in 5A haven't extended too far north but from hwy 87 MP 310 south to the rim it has turned very green, beautiful up here right now. Waterholes have started to fill so the elk should be happy! I know I am!

Nice variety, great pics!

Put a camera out Saturday morning and was a little worried that the tank could dry up anytime. Put a chunk of salt a few feet from the mud. (Note the day is one day off on the cam, time is right) I was thinking I might have to move the salt since we had a good rain that afternoon, so went to check it this morning. What a difference! Need to go check a few more "dry" waterholes and see what they look like.

Using 2-way radios while hunting. Legal, ethical or what?

That's the way I understand it, if you want to enter the animal in the book go back to hand signals. -
Very nice! I'm heading to Alaska Sunday! Can't wait to tie into a big halibut and maybe a GIANT ling cod!
-
Good looking bulls, much better than any I have seen on my cams!

Yep and yep.

I'm 13 miles north of Clint's Well towards Winslow.

We had 1.4" Saturday afternoon at my place, I was watching the radar and hoping this waterhole was catching some of it. It did. Salt was put there specifically for the elk! ; )

Wonder what they think when there's lightning?

Great finds!

Whatever you end up make sure it says Garmin! I like the 60 series, they are probably outdated but I don't think you can beat the 60 CSX, look on ebay for the best deals.

You could start a zoo with all the animals that passed by there! Great spot!

What a story! Had my heart pumping! Congrats!

Sorry for the people that lost property in the fire, what a junk yard! Hope they clean it up, don't know what will be worse, the eyesore for the last 25 years of all the rusted bikes or the burnt bikes.

I've been out quite a bit and have seen nothing that compares to that bull! Very nice!

Checked it out yesterday morning through my 15's. neat looking!
