I tried an elk roast last year, came out too dry. I think game meat doesn't have enough fat to be good in a smoker. Hope you prove me wrong. FYI, I wrapped the roast in bacon and that didn't seem to help. Let us know how it comes out.

TJ, they're daylilies . There's a lot of them around Payson /Pine gardens. It's a good thing they grow fast, the elk eat them to the ground.

All fun! Was worried you might take it the wrong way. Not pretty but if you come up north I'm sure we could get along. Maverick there's good hunting every where look around Tucson. Get out and glass and you'll probably meet some people out there that will show you around.

Love this idea! Had a new elk Hunter staying here so I could show him around, he left about an hour before this bull came into my yard. Sent him your drawing to see of he can come up with something before his rifle hunt.

Sitting on the patio this eve when Hunter starts going berserk, thought he was chasing a bird, squirrel or just his imagination. When I went to take a look all I saw at first where horns above the scrub oaks. Woo Hoo, nice bull!

The direction it's going there really isn't much to burn. On second thought the major power lines along 87 are probably the reason they are attacking this fire wit a lot of resources.

Started today in the high winds, looks like it started at or around the rock climbing campground about MP 314 west of 87.

Neat stuff, don't know what it costs but doesn't seem practical for personal use(boots). 2 step application + heat gun+special cleanup chemical! then it's not abrasion proof. I didn't see the practical use of computers 20 years ago either, so who knows. Somebody give it a try and let us know.
