Looks good to me! Had elk burritos tonight, made from leftover elk roast, red chili sauce, green chilies. I'll have to save your recipe and give it a try.

This is one we found on our lot in Happy Jack.

The pellets are salt and salt is legal. Whether it's a G&F cam or not, who knows. I read something on a forum a couple of years ago about putting a sign like that on a cam to keep people from messing with it. Pretty lame security if it's held on with bungees.

Oneshot, that's a beautiful collection! Ready2hunt, Lots of shell fossils on most the roads heading north off the 300 road on the rim. Love showing the kids and having them find them, they look exactly like the ones you found.

Anybody saving one of these? I made this from a diagram in an elk calling article in Outdoor Life or Field&Stream in the early 70's. Same here with the topo maps, hate to throw them away!

does the Apple Lightning SD adapter read Cuddeback SD?
Elkaddict replied to apache12's topic in Trail Cameras
I use that adaptor to read sd cards in my trail cams. I plug it into an ipad, I assume the iPhone would work the same way. Don't know if the cuddeback format is different. -
Very nice pics!

Nothing like that sound, I hear a few every time I glass off the rim. Been hearing them for 3 weeks now. -
Great write up and a bull of many dreams, congrats !

Nice scenery.

Wish I had been there! Good job!

I agree with you there. He's been seen in several subdivisions, guess he likes the variety of easy food.
-
We are hoping he stays in the subdivision, if he gets out he's pretty much fair game. Last year he stayed in one of the close subdivisions and made it . I had a tag and would hear stories of him bedding down in someone's property all day while we were chasing bugles in the woods. Hope to see him when he finishes growing.

This one might be a little more recent.

Know what you mean about the"kiddos". I have a couple of grandkids that drive me crazy with the stuff they have!
-
Hog Hunter, I do enjoy seeing what you are selling. Where do you come up with this stuff? : )
-
Haven't seen him for 2 weeks, lucky for my plants !

Just got back from 2 week vacation. Had house sitters watching the dog and taking care of things. They didn't have any problems with the "lily eating bull", never saw a thing. First morning back with the grandkids and look who's eyeing my flowers again!

Sometimes you just have to go that extra yard!

Questions About Hunting Locations/Rules in Arizona

Pretty much anywhere around flagstaff is open during the general archery season. Yep just pull over and take off. Have fun! -
Nice touch! Love the shadows on the euro mount!

Not too hard, find the elk shed. I would say 90% of the sheds I find I glass first. Most of the other 10% are found hiking over to get the ones I glassed. The first pic is the find the shed ( I haven't picked it up, and pretty sure I never will). The second is one I glassed and picked up a couple of weeks ago. How about you guys? Glassing or walking?
