He's 28" inside, very happy with Clay's work. He has done 2 bulls and this buck for us, all beautiful mounts.

13 miles N of Clints Well we had 1.25" in about 1/2 hr. About 5PM this eve, looks like more on the way.

I prefer the narrows to the south, haven't been by there in a while so not sure how much water is in there. When I fished Lake Mary if there were weeds in that part of the lake I would go until my trolling motor was kicking up mud and cast a spinnerbait as far as I could up shallower. And watch when you get back to the boat, a lot of hits at the boat. If they are in that area you can't fish a spinnerbait too fast.

Spinnerbaits buzzing the surface in as shallow as possible.

Take a book. It's by far the most boring way I have ever hunted. I have friends that are very successful from tree stands, it's just not how I want to spend my time in the woods.

Always horror stories about bad mushrooms. Any advice on how to tell good from bad? Pictures? Always wanted to cook up some, years ago I met a guy in Parks that collected mushrooms , sliced and sautéed in butter he said they were delicious !

As of April 2nd Looks like they are all open, with the exception of the road to Blue Ridge Lake. For some reason that road still has the gate locked. Anyone know why?

Most of the little weenies posting now days dont even know what you are talking about. yep cant really remember the dates, but if you had an early bull tag the scouting time was 2 months or less. The mid winter draw is a good thing. I remember getting the elk results while fishing our annual Lake Mary tournament in July.
