Sent ya a PM 'bout your 4WD Awesome hunt to you and yer posse! Congrats!

Good day Sir, My name is Mike and I just so happen to have a youth 243, a single shot break over with a Nikon 2x7 I believe, I bought it from a buddy who was in a bad way financially, so I don't have all the details on the gun. (haven't shot it in three years). Great gun and has a heavy barrel. My son used it for his first two hunts and a coyote hunt or three, as well. Not sure if I want to sell it but I'd let ya borrow it and if your son really likes it then we could haggle. Anything to get the kiddos into this madness we are afflicted with, lol! I am in Afghanistan and will be home the 26th of this month. I live in Tucson and my son is home so You could pick it up ASAP and do some shooting before your hunt. Let me know your thoughts and we;ll go from there! V/r Mike Markve

Hit me at my primary EM, from member profiles, is your hunt in the eastern part of the res (north east corner) I hunted there couple of years ago and have been away. Hope I'm in time before your hunt. You're in for a treat if so!

First of all, if one of you fine folks purchase my goods I will donate a $100.00 to Amanda, so warm up your pen, 2004 and 2006 Arctic Cats, the 04 is a 400 4x4, and the 06 is the new 250 liquid cooled/automatic 2x4. Both are utility quads and when I say babied I mean just that, oil changed every 100, yes 100 miles and garaged and the 400 has been adult ridden only. The 06 250 was for my son who has been on the machine 3 times and is just past break-in and is on the second oil change. Camo covers on the 04 and seat covers on both, big utility bags for both as well as flat repair kits and both have the tires slimed. The trailer is four or five months old and is a big tex 5x14 single axle that is overall 7 feet wide. I'm lookin for $9600.00. I would like to (sell)keep it all together. The reason I'm selling them is safety related. I would like to purchase the polaris ranger 4x4 with a bench seat. These machines are cleannn and have never been wrecked and never put away dirty!! shoot me a P.M. if interested Mike

This is the latest proposal for the 2006 hunt seas
m1280 replied to COOSEFAN's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Ditto that! The same goes from the wildlife mngrs as a friend that works the tucson areas told me that the overall feeling is that HE is listening to them but doesnt here them. Now when someone that works for the azgfd says that... We the residents are S.O.L. Seriously folks those proposals make me ill! This info is from a dedicated father and employee with a good record and no disgruntlement, considering the work they do and the hours and sometimes threats they contend with and then add the lack of pay on top, shoot, makes ya wonder if the FNG is tied in with USO or some other B.S. outfit!! Guess its a good thing that we parents can sign our tags over to our kids cause by the time I draw another elk tag I'll be so old and feeble I wont be able to pull 50 lbs.!! I'm mad as H E double sticks!!! Some one that is smarter than me needs to spell this out and let me know, other than the obvious, how does this benefit us the local crowd that supports year round w/ our other purchases and volonteer efforts etc? I sure as heck hope that the mngrs at the bottom of the food chain get a raise. That may be the only positive about this crap. I'm done,,,for now lets go to Yuma!! -
Hunter az welcome to the site, my name is Mike Markve, usually when one is new to the site, one should ALWAYS think and research the topic so as not offend or embarass ones self. I'm not puttin ya down but there are some real knowledgeble folks here and they are willing to help with some quality info. Now, if you know the New Mexico fellow and I have overstepped my bounds I apologize!!! This a GREAT site and that kinda stuff is welcome on the mulie site, but here at least, my thought process is that I am sayin the same thing in the same manor that I would after I shook someones hand and intrduced my self! Good luck -mike-

sorry to see gmm go and I will wish him luck!! went down to the grubsteak on sat to see what the turnout would be and low and behold in the parkin lot was was a used car lot and some halloween party and lotsa people!! did make one lap around and figured the huntin conversations were a little slim based on the clientel. so i walked back outside and met young hunter (christian and his pops randy as well as firstcouecwas 80, casey and his dad. and no packhorse, red rabbit or scotty boy. now in all fairness I did get there right @ 8:00 pm and might have missed them or , i would like to think that they were by the fire capin out the days fare, none the less as the topic states got to meet some more folks afflicted with the same ilness that I have, beein in the hills on a cool mornin w/ glass and gun in hand trien' to make the connection. we were there for an hour or so and shot the bull for awhile and as for myself felt like I was yappin w/ friends that have shared fires and stories with for much much longer than an hour!!! Christian and his dad were scoutin for the nov epic and casey and his pops were part of the oct efforts, caseys dad took a fork on fri am and his dad was inside celebratin and was crackin me up, he come out w/ these bouncin eyeball glasses singin the beer goggles song(had to be there) and told us that he was able to wrangle us up some food amongst the crowd all ready there. any ways christian and his dad decided to roll back down south and I had thrown a few select items in the truck and decided cold turkey to offer another pair of eyes and blew outa tucson and ended up followin casey and his dad back to their camp. unrolled the sleppin bag and set the alarm for 0 dark'thirty and me and casey hit the trail, got to the 'spot', broke out the glass and commenced to pick the area, casey had told me that trophy hardware was scarce the last couple of days and about 10 mins. of glassin found some does and a small fork, got casey and the range finder on the same line and found the fork was 821 and some change light conversation was had,and IT, was on, cut the distance and make the shot, right? not today got busted and they topped the hill. the morning continued much the same w/o bucks though until hunger drove us back to camp for some real food, and lemee tell his pops and the ole dutch oven killed the void and like i said earlier, this was comfortable and felt like we had been doin this all along!! good time was had even with 2 flats that wiped out the rest of the day(fix-a-flat rules) so as the topic says hello to some new huntin chums and we are already talkin bout a trip to wyoming and chase some goats!! hopefully I can get out in nov and help young hunter and expand my constitchuancy( spelling) that means fellow hunters lark! maybe I'll cross paths w/ you some day just from your posts as well as others ya'll a good bucha dudes!! good luck and kindle some new relationships!! -mike-

any body used these products? my salt lick is a 14 months along and gettin' pounded (good ole water softner salt) every 3 months. just dumped a bag of the black magic to 'ice' the critters for the upcoming archery and was wondering what I can expect. when I opened the 'magic' the aroma was, well, it made me think I could mix w/ some h2o and drink it my self!! awful sweet aroma, but the ingrediants are all trace minerals and the 'secret attractant'. any info would be appreciated thanx and good luck all!! -mike-
