I was there in the late 80's and seen a big giant bull checked in and a goat. The goat was skinned up to the head, had a game bag on it and tagged on the spike horn.

I remember when they paved the road to Bartlett, imo it ruined it, but we are double the population now also. Now paving Apache from Roosevelt to burnt corral, it will be ruined in less than 10 years. Will be lot's of wrecks on the new road with people trying to drive to fast etc.

What are you guys running? I have a Dodge Cummins and not happy with the BFG AT anyone, they don't last and the won't balance Thanks for all your input I appreciate it and I apologize if my question hijacked his post, I should have started a new one. Fore sure BFG ain't what they used to be.

No I have not, not 1 deer or any turkeys either. A few antelope.

I'm at greens peak in unit 1, day 7 and big heards of cows grouped up 50 plus and the bulls have been 1 or 2 ,3 together. 67 degrees for the high and rain every day. Cheers!

Scheels has various shells for 7.99 per box -
35 foot 5th wheel and a $1200 mattress. Done it all, but when you get older it's all about being comfortable and enjoying. For me at least. Trucks, camper shell, ground, tent, that was awesome time's and very effective and cost sufficient but I need more comfortable living.

Go on the week days. Fishing department sucks unless you are a beginner. Hunting department is very good.
