I've had daisy mays here in Tucson they had a great steak, also I've had little Mexico think it was like a 32oz porter house boy that thing was awesome, but I think the best stakes are those cooked at camp weather a chuck steak (lol), or a ribeye it all taste good at camp.

Yes he was in full velvet, he got a couple scraps from running through the canyons I'm goin to try to preserve it as much as I can.

Thanks guys he was happy to fill the tag he was down cause he had missed a couple bruisers earlier in the morning, we tracked the blood on this guy for almost four hours in mid day heat.

This is my son's second big game tag he filled last year's tag on our last evening out in 36b, this year filled his tag on the second day in unit 34a, we really don't know allot about this unit it's our first time hunting in this unit, very nice out there. 11 yrs old.

My son also got drawn for this unit, I've always wanted to hunt this unit but never got drawn so I'm also a little lost on where to go I've bought a map but looks like there's allot of private property so kinda unsure where to go we've done some scouting and I really hope I'm going to a good spot, any help on where to go would be appreciated, I don't mind a hike. Thanks.....forgot to add his hunt is in two weeks Oct 6.
