    WTB decent binos - $400

Very happy with my Monarch 5's (8x42's). If I were you, I would save a little more and get a pair of viper 10X50's. One stop for everything you need, especially low light. I know a few who swear by the Zen-Ray's, but I've never had a chance to look through a pair. Doug at Cameraland is without a doubt the best most trusted source you could get an opinion from. He will take the time to talk through what you are looking for and give you the best options and perspective.
  4. The last 12 months have been beyond my wildest dreams. Only a few on this site know the effort behind all this. Each of my four kids tagging out, and an unbelievable Elk hunt. Feeling beyond blessed. My hopes are that this post inspires others to take the time to hunt with a kid, whether yours or someone else's. Good luck to those still out there chasing their dreams this year.

    Opening day

I think you broke 80 this time, and all the antlers are intact. Nice work.
  6. Looking for someone who might have an old game camera box or two collecting dust. I'm in the Tucson/Marana area. I've got some odds and ends I could trade, if that is preferred (22LR, brass, etc.).

    Chair for blind

You'll always have noise, no matter what. In my experience, the animals are much more sensitive to movement they can see than slight sounds. If you give them time to settle down, pick the right time to move, and move very slowly, you'll be surprised how much you can get away with. I use a browning full size chair I paid $40 for at Sportsman's. Found the most comfortable chair that gave me good lumbar and went with it. Good luck.

    New Camo???

I have had amazing close up encounters while wearing Desert Shadow in the low country, and Mountain shadow in the high country. As cool as all these "high end" prints look, experience will keep me loyal to King's for a long time.

Just like looking for a new restaurant to try. If there isn't a decent line out front, you know it ain't worth trying. He's worth the wait, believe me.

+1 on Craig's. Kyle is top notch.
  14. I just picked up a 7mm-08 on trade. Interested in what has worked well and what hasn't for those who are reloading. I'm much more interested in accuracy than velocity. I plan on using Horanady brass, and 139 SST's and 140 Accubonds initially. Thanks, and if anyone needs a good .243, .270, or 7mm mag load, I have a few.

    Boyds Thumbhole Stock

Boyds thumbhole featherweight stock for a tikka T-3. Brand new, never used. I had planned on using it for my 7mm Mag, but ended up going in another direction. I paid $129 plus shipping. Asking $90. FTF in the Tucson area, and no trades please.

    36a?

Hunted down there for several years. Archery, rifle, youth rifle. Moved back up north after the last 2 years. If you are looking for quality, they are far and few between, and the pressure is over the top. Just my opinion.

    Broadheads

Dead Ringers have served me very well. Blades are very strong, sharp, and it's almost impossible for them to fail. Flight on both 2 and 3 blade versions are perfect with my field tips out to 80 yards. Killed 4 javelina and 3 coues with them. You can find them for $20-$30 on Ebay. Just my 2 cents.
  23. Bull Basin does carry PSE. At some point the guy is going to have to get off the internet and go try some stuff out. Sometimes there isn't a best solution until you've experienced several options. For me it's an X-Force GX with 80 lb limbs. It will take something pretty dang special coming along to pull me away from it.
