Happy Birthday Devan!! Hope it's a good one. How is your new little addition doing??

Looking for a gently used Savage Axis II or Marlin X7 7mm-08. Thanks.

They are not very fancy but I have owned 4 over the years, and it was very easy to get all of them to shoot under an inch with a few load iterations. Yes, tough to beat for the price, and I'm looking forward to getting this one set up for my older daughter.

Found what I needed. Thank you KBarter.

36A whitetail hunt (nov 25 - dec 4) - camping help
John O replied to BIGBUGPETE's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
There is a bunch of space for camping right off of Arivaca Rd., straight south of the Sierra Colorado Hill. Always a few camps, and I wouldn't hesitate to camp there. As soon as you cross the cattle guard, there is a dirt road on the right, with several spots on the left before you drop down to the small wash. Good luck. These late hunts are tough in that unit. Climb as high as you can and get back into it. Otherwise most of what you will see is does and hunters. Good luck! -
Excellent! Great job.

Good luck Devan!! If you run out of food for the kids during your month off, shoot me a text and I'll deliver you a pallet of Top Ramen. For reals man!! Best wishes and prayers for you and your family.

Any coues hunter on a budget needing good glass should pick these up. I used a pair for almost 2 years before getting my Kaibabs, and they are just a slight step down. Excellent glass for the money.

Bull Basin in Tucson has changed out my bow string twice, and did an A+ job. No post installation stretch, and both times I literally did not have to move any of my pins. Amazing service, and I think it was about $125. You'd be nuts to shortcut to save a few bucks for inferior strings and service. They get them from a custom string maker in Colorado, and his work is second to none in my opinion. Good luck!

Awesome job young hunter!

Now that my daughter is more grown up, I've decided to jump her up to a 7-08. This .243 rifle has been fantastic, and honestly it's hard to let it go. It's the most accurate gun in my house, shooting under 0.8" groups consistently. I have two loads that shoot that well, and can share load data. It has a youth stock, an adjustable trigger (similar to accutrigger), fluted bolt, weaver rings, one piece base, and a takeoff pentax gameseeker 3-9X40 from another rifle I had. Scope is a little banged up, but is clear and functions perfectly. This rifle is very light, and would be a great starter youth gun, or for smaller game or predator hunting. I'm selling the rifle, 64 twice fired nickel rem cases, 36 loaded rounds (barnes TSX and TTSX), and a FL set of Lyman dies. I would prefer to sell the complete package together, but may consider breaking it up if the buyer doesn't reload. $225 for rifle and scope only, $250 for everything. Not out to make a fortune here, just ready to move it along and get ready for the next upgrade. Although this is a youth rifle, the only thing that makes it that is a stock that's 1 inch shorter length of pull. Everything else is full size. It's actually very comfortable to shoot as an adult. FTF in the Tucson area.

Wow, really? "A little more hair than usual". Jon has done over 20 animals for me, and I've never found a single hair. I guess we all have to decide what is good enough. Either way my friend, good luck and congrats on your success.
