Looking for some advice on my shooting form. See photo below. In all seriousness, good luck to everyone this fall season!

Don't forget the exploding arrow. Those pants have got to cause some circulation issues!!

need a good set of binos for small amount of $$$$$
John O replied to regge090's topic in Classified Ads
I may get some grief for this, but Celestron makes fantastic binoculars for the $$$. I have used a pair of 12X60's for the last 4 years, and they held up great from 10 to 110 degree weather. I just bought their Skmaster 15X70's, and they are very clear and have an awesome field of view. $71 at Amazon, including shipping. Go to a local astronomy shop, and check them out and you will see what I am talking about. Good luck. -
Yep. Right on. I thought it was a rabbit when I first saw it. Ended up being a nice 80 or so inch buck. After a while he stood up, and so did his buddy, who was at least 90 inches. Went out for 4 hours and saw over 20 deer, three of which were bucks. Can't wait go get out and fling some sticks.

Happens if you don't get your first choice during the initial bonus point draw. I assume you had bonus points? Happened to my son last year for a Jr. Javelina hunt.

Looks great! Congratulations again.

I have 5 new muzzy 4 blade broadheads for sale. Asking $20 for them. I am in Tucson, and can arrange a place to meet.
-
No. Just the standard Muzzy 4 blade.

I am willing to ship these to anyone in the state of Arizona. Total cost, including shipping, is still $20

I am going to chime in here. I think the best source to look to is history. Does anyone know how many hunters have been killed or wounded by illegals in southern Arizona over the last 20 years. Yes, I understand there have been close encounters, and I have personally seen the crossers, but numbers talk. If the number is none or even a few, than I submit that you have a greater chance of getting killed by taking a Saturday afternoon drive to the Wal-Mart to pick up some TP. But what about the close encounters- Yes they can be scary and potentially life threatening, depending on how they are handled, but on the other hand, how many close call car accidents happen to you each year. For me I would say 3-5. So I provide this example to illustrate that there is inherent life threatening danger in much of what we do on a daily basis, and if history does not demonstrate a long list of tragic examples, than be vigilant and smart, and go bag a big one. Nuf said!

Left Over Tags "WOW" Lots left!!!
John O replied to SO I HUNT's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Per the G&F website- "Applications for leftover permits will be accepted by mail only on or after August 3, 2009. Paper applications must be used - no online application service is available. " This means on the morning of the 3rd, they start opening envelopes and assigning tags. Mail your applications Friday the 31st. -
This may or may not apply to you, depending on your bow- For split limb bows, the limbs need to be installed in the correct order, or else the bow will be torqued by the unequal forces from the limbs. I had this problem on the dreamseason GX I just bought. The guy at the PSE pro shop kept telling me there was no way to get rid of my right tear, unless I used stiffer spined arrows. I did some research online and guessed that my limbs were in the wrong order. I took it in and sure enough, they were installed wrong. All of a sudden my "underspined" arrows were shooting bullet holes. Also, I shoot montecs and they fly perfectly with my field points, so I would be surprised if the broadhead is the problem. Keep at it.

Nada for whitetail for me and my son, but he drew a 33 early jr. javelina tag. Heeeeerrrrrrre pig pig pig pig pig.... For me, I am going to have to find a way to get er done with the old stick and string. Good luck to all!!!

Picked up my son's mount last week for his 2008 coues. He was excited, to say the least.
-
I have a gently used limbsaver S-coil stabilizer, 2 string leaches, and two split limb dampeners I would be willing to trade you for them. Send me a PM if you are interested.
-
The nice lady at G&F told me today that she hoped they would be available Friday afternoon. No predictions here, just conveying information.

+1 WGP has processed 6 animals for me, and I have been extremely pleased.

Trade done. Thanks Aaron!

I have a Pentax Gameseeker 3X9 rifle scope that I am interested in trading for a handheld GPS. It was mounted to a rifle once, and never shot while attached. I have this same type of scope mounted to my .270 and 300 win mag, and have been very pleased with its clarity and toughness. I am looking for something like an explorist 100/200, or an etrex type GPS. PM me if you are interested. I am also open to throwing in a little $$ if needed.

73 yards, with a 7 mph tail wind, 93 degrees F, 3804 ft elevation, and a sweaty palm.

+1 on the 2 piece PSE quivers. Had the 4 arrow on my last bow, and went to the 8 arrow for my gx. Fits tight as a glove, quiet, and inexpensive.

I would encourage you to look at the G5 Montec . I had a complete pass through on a whitetail last year, like it wasn't even standing there. Flies perfect with my field tips out to 70 yards.
