i have looked at alot of other barrel companies. I chose mgm because of price and time to have the barrel made and all the good reviews i have heard about them. i paid 395 for the barrel and it being threaded with a thread cap. almost everyone else is going to be 465+ for just the barrel. You can look them up on there website they have a forum you can post on and ask they are very helpful people.

Casey, the guns a beast it weights right around 13 pounds Mgm is a great company the barrel took about 5 weeks to recieve i would definetly get another barrel from them.

it really depends on what hunt you are putting in for i put in for. i have got lucky and have drew 2 early archery bull tags and a early rifle bull with the rest being late season tags. During the late season hunts i have had just as good success and have killed better bulls. This year i drew 1 out of 40 for a late hunt. in my opinion forget waiting 10 plus years for a tag play the odds i am 21 years old and i have killed 5 6 points and better ranging anwhere from 260-340
