I used a spinning rod. Caught a couple more and had a few flop off as well.

I'm trying to upload these from my phone I don't know why they are up side down. Caught some decent browns today. Fished for a few hours.

If you want performance you will pay with barrel life. I have a rifle getting finished up called 6.5 sin. Ballistically it's quite a bit faster then the 26 nosler but it what I want. A 160 matrix bullet at nearly 3600 sure intrigues me.

another great reason is reloading for these big 338 is very easy and awesome es and sd

id put money on it that my guns recoils have of your 300 winnie. and i shoot plenty of coues deer with a 300 grain bullet
