Looking for a ground blind for an upcoming archery hunt. Not picky on brand. Just looking for something in good condition, reasonably priced, with room to draw a bow. Cash in hand. Located in East Tucson

I may take you up on your offer if I make it up that way before my trip. I have hunted the ranch many times but only during the rut with a rifle, curious to see how early season archery differs from that. The corn feeders will be running but I don’t foresee early season bucks visiting them in daylight hours. Got some scent killer detergent and spray, hopefully it’s worth it. And yes I have taken many pigs on the ranch and am hopeful I will see some on this trip. Had some scary encounters over the years but luckily no injuries (other than those sustained by the pigs lol). I will have my trusty Gp100 on me at all times. Should be fun!

There are some trees but mostly brush. Location is south Texas. Wish I could go scout ahead of time, tree stand would be ideal but requires a little more homework imo.

Unfortunately the location I will be hunting is about 950 miles away. Worst case scenario I will build one upon arrival.

I am typically a large, and these fit well. I’m not athletic by any means (5’10” 180lbs) but these are not tight or uncomfortable. Great range of motion. Sleeves are proper length on both, especially good on the short sleeve. I ordered the same things in the Vias pattern so I enjoy them.

I am not new to shed hunting, and I like to think of myself as a very successful shed hunter when it comes to finding deer sheds in the desert. I’ve recently developed an interest in backpack hunting and I would like to do an overnight trip to look for elk sheds. That being said, I really don’t know where to start. I have been on a handful of elk hunts on Camp Navajo as a kid, but not nearly enough time in the elk woods to consider myself and experienced elk hunter. I have narrowed my OnX map “scouting” down to a few areas such as northern unit 9, parts of 6a, southern unit 5/northern 5a and 23 north. I am located in Tucson, so driving all the way to any of these locations involves a certain level of commitment. I’m not looking for coordinates or even somewhat specific areas to find elk sheds - I certainly don’t want anyone’s honey hole. What are your opinions on the areas listed? Good places to look or waste of time? Any help is much appreciated!

Got lucky and scooped up a nice muley brown on Tuesday morning. Went back this morning, 5.13 miles doing circles but no luck finding the match.

Sorry, magpul is sold -
Doing some spring cleaning, heres what I got: - Magpul hunter 700 stock in FDE, short action, includes all add on plates for adjusting the stock, instructions, even the magpul sticker as well as bottom metal That accepts detachable mags and (2) 5 round magazines. The mags will accept anything similar to 7.62x51. I used them with a 22-250 and they operated flawlessly. I shot the rifle maybe 40 times with the stock installed, it is as good as new. $225 obo - Savage Mkii g (.22 lr), comes with Boyds ss evolution stock (bottom metal got lost somewhere, I think it was like $25 on their website), factory synthetic stock, 20 moa rail, baraska 3-9x40, (2) 10 round mags and (1) 5 round mag. Round count is a lot but the gun shoots good. $200 takes everything. - Ameristep 2 person blind purchased in October and used for a week during a hunting trip to Texas. Everything that came in the box is there, blind and carrying case are in perfect condition, shoot through mesh covers for window have never been shot through. $50 obo - 2008 Tacoma OEM headlights. These things go for $337 a piece from the dealership and $275 each online. They are in good shape for being 10 years old, they dont leak and they arent cloudy. No bulbs included. $125 obo - N fab spare tire carrier for Tacoma/tundra. Mounts on the bed rails, holds up to a 37 tire. All hardware and strap included. $160 obo
