This is a true story. I was riding my mule in 36b over the wknd minding my own business. I happened upon a small unoccupied UDA encampment in a mesquite thicket. I was creeping along on my trusty steed on guard for any suspicious activity when all heck broke loose. My mule had stepped on a empty tuna can that was left behind as a booby trap! Let me tell you when tin cans get stuck in horseshoes it is going to get western. I lasted the full 8 seconds and the evil plot was foiled but my britches were soiled. My advice to everyone is if you see an empty tuna can duck and run baby.

Illegals tried to kill me!

worst deal of my life getting that mule for radar. (btw it was more like a few more rodeo's. I only bit the dust once this wknd which is a plus) -
Sophie check your p.m.

I think we should get together and whack eveyone of those lions before we have nothing left to hunt.

guadalajara is too far south for coues deer. coues deer only go down as far south as the sinaloa border.they probably have some sinaloa whitetail mixed in. what a joke. who are these jag offs from tucson booking this deal?

I have a January Coues Deer hunt in unit c. I will be scouting from here on out. Looking for some starting points. Any help is appreciated.

They will come hard to a fawn bleat so imo the result wouldn't be very good.

first off I have to say that my 6.5 rules! you might try out a few bullets from a couple reloaders and see how it goes first so here are a few links. these reloaders will work up the load to it's potential. the factory rounds are wimpy because they don't want to get in trouble if someones vintage swedish mouser from ww2 blows up. I used this guy to work up a load that is so accurate it is scary! honest .5 inch groups out of a encore with a custom heavy barrel. I am shooting 129 grain hornady sst's at 2620fps. try this link: http://www.johnsonsprecisionreloading.com/price/ another reloader that I had good luck with and the price is more reasonable is: http://www.thehuntingshack.com/ good luck!

you could keep an eye on ebay for some 15x60 doctors for around 400-600 bucks. good luck!

the swaro is a great scope (the best by far) but the only thing the hd glass does is inhance the higher colors(yellow, red) at close range. this is useful for birders and photographers but overkill for long range glassing. save your money and buy the regular glass. I don't know doug at cameraland but he must be a great guy by all of the positive feedback.

Gnats, Gnats, Gnats
the breeze replied to TATAat27's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Even with the repellent the gnats are still going to be flying in your eyes, nose, and ears. Here is what I do for a long sit on a hot day. Get some swimming goggles some ear plugs and a nose plug (that the swimmers wear also) and good luck! -
Dood I am sorry about your physical problems and I appologize for my post but I never cut on you personally as far as your physical problems. I also never wished anything bad on you in my post or in real life.

I am sorry but every time I see you list something on here it is overpriced and I am unable to just sit back and watch you try to make others think it is such a smokin' deal. so here is a pair with a full factory lifetime warranty against any repair not just defects. the binos will be in the purchasers name so there will be no issues if returned for repair. they are $25 dollars cheaper than what you want. I talked to Chris at swfa and this pair has no cleaning scratches. item#4937 Swarovski 10x50 SLC 58010, Green rubber armored, roof prism, center focus, light handling wear. $1,199.95

swfa has factory demos with a full warranty on the sample list for 1099.00

This pic is my buddies son on my mule Harriett. He is 14 and she is 12. She is as straight as they come and I wouldn't sell her for any ammount of cash. I have another mule named Gus and he packs meat (including Bear) and rides as well. Gus is 7 and I think if he lives to be 10 he might turn into a really nice animal.
