So I just bought a Tikka T3x Lite and now looking for a nice scope, around $500 is what I want to spend. I can get a deal for a Leupold VX-3I 4.5-14x40 with a side focus and Leupold's CDS turret for $500 dollars. Any thoughts on this scope or any others? (My Tikka is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and I don't plan on shooting past 500 yards on an animal.)

I haven't owned any scopes other than cheap Nikon's. This will be my first scope over $300 too.

Do you have any experience with the Nightforce SHV line?

If my scope doesn't do some/any of these to my liking. What would you recommend?

I have been eyeballing the new maven rs.2 aswell. 2-10x38, 12.4 oz. $450 dollars with a presale order.

I will most likely buy through govx because the discounts i can get. just depends what they have for sale and what im looking for.

i will probably be shooting coues/mule deer and elk within 350 yards, anything past 400 i feel like i could get closer unless time, light or terrain prohibit me. iv'e heard shooting long range with a light rifle is a challenge. i just want a durable scope that holds zero/precise 1/4 moa adjustments and has enough power to see pretty well at 500 yards and in (i like a little more magnification than average). i feel 14 power withing 350 yards is plenty, am i mistaken?

I would like to buy a accurate lightweight hunting rifle in any .264/6.5 caliber thats under $750. Was leaning towards a 6.5 creedmoor. If anyone has any suggestions or is selling a rifle, just drop a comment or send me a pm, much appreciated.

I really want a nice 6.5x284 Norma custom rifle, maybe even a factory Savage 6.5x284 for now (totally forgot about savage), but I'm 20 and my budget is small. My dad just started reloading so that's not an issue.

I'm leaning towards a Ruger Predator or Tikka in 6.5 Creedmoor, if anyone is selling either, send me a pm.
