Yes they are legal, the only thing that you can not bait for is waterfowl, and bears, and I think it is up to the individual if its ethical or not, I personally think that it is ethical.

The 30-06 will work just fine, just make sure you shoot a bullet that is going to expand when it hits a little coues.

Like Ernesto said It just sounds like an excuse to buy a new rifle. So if you want my opinion, get the 25-06 and then make your decision. I own both calibers, and love them both. In my opinion you are not over gunned, I shoot a 300 wsm, and still want to get a 30-378 weatherby mag for coues.

So if some of us get lucky, and get tags what are you going to shoot? I am going to shoot my winchester model 70 in 300 wsm. I have worked up a good load for it shooting 150 gr Hornady interbonds.

I have came up with a very accurate load with 150 gr interbonds out of my 300 wsm, I have only shot coyotes with the so far. I have also came up with a very accurate load using 165 gr interbonds that I will propably use for an all around bullet. So I like them so far, they are extremly accurate.

Well no elk or antelope, but I did get 27/28 December whitetail.

I dont have any feeding problems with my 300 wsm, or my 223 wsm. I am very happy with both of them. They are both winchesters.

I saw a herd of 9 muley bucks in 3B last week and a couple of them were already 4x4's, I think they are some of the bucks that I seen last year that were toads.

I called the phoenix office, and they said the 2nd week in july.

I put in for 27/28 whitetail, 3A/3C archery bull, 2C rifle antelope. Now Im just praying that I get drawn.

That is a beautiful flathead. I love to flathead fish too so far my biggest is 50lbs out of the salt. My favorite bait is carp, but when my carp tank is getting low I will use bluegill. This year I have caught three fish over 30lbs.

Never a lion skull but I have found about everything else including a bobcat, and bear.

Does any of you shoot the whisker buiscut rest? If so how do you like it? I shoot a bodoodle, and it is a good rest but one little shake and your arrow is off the rest. The whisker buiscut seems like it would be a very good hunting rest.

Another thing you can try is a different size vein, or a helical twist in your veins. I Shoot gold tip 55/75's with 3 inch veins and no twist in them, with an 85 gr steel force broadhead, and they fly very well. When I was shooting 100 gr steel force I needed a 4 inch vein with a heavy helical in them to get the best flight.

Yes I have seen some coues in that country, I dont know if it is the same place you are talking about, but it sounds like the same area. I am in unit 1 a lot.

That is a very nice buck, and Im sure their is someone out their that would like to buy it, but personally I would rather buy a new pair of Swarovskis, or a few new guns.

I have seen a few coues right here in my home unit of 3B, I have also seen them in units 3C, 4A, 4B, and in unit 1.

I go spot lighting all the time. I live in the white mountains, and it is a common thing up here. I have never been checked while doing it.
