Bruce thank you. I haven't listened yet but thank you for taking the time to put this together. We need the momentum. Pretty bold to request additional tags. Can we put together a plan on how we can head his off? Collective ly
  5. Tannerite would have been an interesting choice for batteries instead of aa's Close range engagement would initiate self defication. Pretty sure the perp would not be a repeat offender Disclaimer don't put tannerite in game cams. It's unsafe

Time is money. That's an excessive turnaround time. I have built houses from the ground up in that timeframe.

I have a pretty solid solution but I can't reveal this million dollar idea on a public forum. Maybe if you guys get me an auction tag I will share this info.

  16. Aniother alternative would be to disband the point guard with azgf and make it (point guard) protocol like other states where you can forfeit a tag. In lieu of point guard the hunting preservation stamp could be available to purchase to head off anti groups. We would need to have a return of sorts that would prompt hunters to support this. Maybe have local taxidermy kick in a free mount if you buy the stamp You could have a chance at free mount for the purchase.
  17. i dig what you're saying. I have concerns as well. So let's talk about possible funding strategies and get moving on it. We have xxx,000s. Applicants annually in AZ to hunt on AZ soil. Everyone can share the burden to fund this via a hunting preservation stamp.
  18. the high end paying clients have the dollars to hire any guide they choose and kill any animal to there liking. Why do they need an auction tag? We have those already. If you make so much dollars than out bid your competition! You can hunt elk every year but you will need to for our all them gold coins to do so or.... wait your turn in the draw. Becker and his wife kill giants annually in the draw process!!! with out a special super dooper premier exclusive access daylong hunt. If you want to hunt with an auction tag.... buy the dang auction tag!!!!!!!!!

  20. Be careful with this! I thought I knew to glass x slope at x time. I took a very patient first timer and he was finding deer consistently in spots they shouldn't have been. My advice stay in the glass and move methodically and you will find deer.
  21. auction a 100+ tags annually to fund a group that will head off a potential cat hunting ban. I'm dead. 😵
  22. Now with the rant comes a solution. We already have auction tags. If you want a super special year round tag. Pony up and out bid the other guy. Period. The auction process caters to the high end crowd that will pay $xx,xxx for tags The super raffle caters to everyone that are unable to bid for a tag and offers that coveted year round tag for a good value to anyone. Than there is regular draw-if you want a tag put your name in the hat like everyone else or play the Bonus point game. This model seems like a fair privilege to all hunters in arizona regardless of annual income. I say if these high end clients want to kill the biggest trophys have the Outfitters charge them what ever the auction tag went for and have at it. Go hunt San Carlos or a private ranch Utah.At the end of the day all they want is the trophy.if you don't like the current AZ hunting model go hunt else where. We don't need auction tags. If more revenue is warranted add two tags to the super raffle but only to AZ residents. Buy local my dudes.
  23. Why are we are ignoring the fact that auction tag holders will hire an outfit to help the kill a trophy. With that said they already have a team to help take down any species. Why do they feel it necessary to do it outside of the regular hunting season. Why don't the guides up there prices and take these would be auction tag holders and go hunt in the season. Oh competition. They want the premier tag and out of season. Get TF out of here
  24. Sorry azkiller it looks like trophy hunter and jack posted before your post went up. I appreciate the compliment.
