according to a friend of mine back then at game and fish there is a few exotics running around in the strip. Seem they either came from a rancher or a farm that closed down. Basically just like the hogs did in blue-ridge resivor way back in the day. Theres some other place in AZ as well. I predict that place in exotic hunt place near kingman is going to have some pigs and other exotics running around the area outside the fence as well in a few years. can you image driving over the hill and seeing that thing in the middle of nowhere while hunting deer.

No tag needed, classified as a invasive species or some other term like that. Friends of mine were hunting in unit 13a on the strip years ago ran into an emu, called me to see if it was legal to shoot, talked to game and fish they said yes no tag no license needed kill it.. called them back told them they never saw it again for the rest of the hunt. I would have never believed it if they didnt send me the pic.. Its posted on a few forums years ago cant find it on this pc must be on the one at the shop. cool as shoot. I figured those clowns were drinking early and bored when they called.

Congrats badgers are cool and mean as heck. we had one chase Dad and I into my truck than try to chew the tires off while p-dog hunting in seligman many years ago. after I shot it it ran down its hole had to dig that F' er out took most of the night, Borrowed a couple of shovels from Tim Pender. now hes a full mount Never called one in seen quite a few over the years but never had a good shot.

me too lots of time on the north rim. for unit 12aw I like the early hunt only because we have seen some huge resident bucks in the sage all year long. usually right at the south west end of rattlesnake canyon. little rough hiking but a really good. too many people hunt the pines for me.

Can you imagine the uproar if we had video cameras back in the 70s and 80's or even had footage of the stuff we did that no one cared about. shooting yotes with a sawed off from a snow mobile, out the window of a truck while driving on the ranch, shooting pheasant from a harrow bed. oh for the good old days where the only thing that was asked was how many did you get.

Ive seen hunting forums over the years where you will get banned for saying I killed a ....., showing blood in picture(ie must be cleaned up before posting pic, mouth must be shot basically the animal must look life like. but then they got the predator sections where no one cares whats posted.stripped tails missing ear, ballistic jelly, head shots etc etc whats the difference. Some of the responses from hunters trying to justify killing a deer or elk cracks me up. they usually start with "well were managing the herd to keep them in check, or "were keep them from damaging ranchers / farm land " most sorry butt excuess's I have ever heard. why cant hunters be honest from the get go, instead of sugar coating everything Like I like the meat Because I legally can. Yeah those kinda threats would probably get some attention. that sounds like a earth 1st tactic they are a pretty crazy bunch and thrived in tucson way back when. heck they were busted behind the whitetanks back in the 90s trying to cut power transmission poles with a cutting torch. when the deputy that called in for back up got to there suburban they have live grenades in it and a few weapons Defiantly we will disagree on whats funny and whats not, my fu attitude has worked for me for alot of years so I will stick with it.

I raise your death threats with being shot at by earth 1st in the early 80's while archery hunting in the north kaibab. Actually most people have had threats including my self and my kid. why do you even give them the time of the day. but who cares about threats its just that a threat. and people are just talking out there butt.
