cane beds is the north east side of unit 13a along the fee way from ferdonia. rattlesnake canyon runs between 13a and 12aw lower half of unit 12aw, Idont know how far west youve gone in unit 12aw but if you go to the far west side the country is completely different. its rolling grass and sage hills.. its often overlooked as most people go just a tad west of indian hollow. in all these years I been going to the north rim I have never hunted or looked around 12ae, my buddies do good just on the flats by the canyon below the park boundry theres very few roads that have access from what I am told.

cool good luck we normally hit the rattlesnake canyon area on both the 12 and 13 sides then hit the flats out by mount trumble. dont over look that flat that goes up to cane beds lost of sheds in that area both north of the freeway and south about 4 miles

last time I seen turkey eating anything we were sitting by elk tank after a long hike for elk and they were eating white cheese popcorn I was throwing at them. of coarse it was the friday start of elk season. turkey season ended thurday with archery deer. 2-10 yards and one day late. could be but I would be betting on bears

we used to go all the time after Easter mainly to shoot yotes and shed hunt and just drive around going to try to go before end of month, havent been in 10-12 years for shed up there was always a good time and found plenty in a few days since the 82.

no need to grind them up, I got wood just looking at the pallets loaded with them. wow I'd love to have a pallet of them

anywhere but I like shnebly(sp) hill and also just above the switch backs going towards flag. lots of yotes and there easy to call in now. lots of bobcats and fox's as well but check the dates for those as I forget when fur bearing season closes. if its open fox's are the easiest and funnest to call in. your kill will have a blast.

Back page gone had nothing to do with firearms and everything to do with prostitution, and minor prostitution. if you read the article that was posted in full on a few sites. Back page had internal memos with prostituion companies and also KNEW and were paid to allow the posting of these ad's. the gun nuts are complaining because they feel it was closed because of people selling guns which it was NOT. I personally hope the %^&$er is shot . Id be more than happy to pull the trigger. I agree prostitution should be legal just leave minors out of it WHICH BACK PAGE CHOOSE NOT TO DO. anyone that condones harm or sex to a minor should be shot craigslist pulled there personal ad's a while back ago to a law that went into effect so they wouldnt get busted too. however it hasnt been proven like it was with back page that back page KNOWINGLY allowed this to happen and got paid a ton of money for it.

I forgot to add one important thing. the fuel line and fuel bulb make sure you ONLY by factory or what Brent over at performance marine suggest you get. reason being they are not all created equal. cheap fuellines and bulbs use cheap material and they god bad and very bad or a year or 2 they desinigrate from the inside and little chunks clog the fuel pump. hences my buddies org issue. the heat and fuel we use here tears them up pretty good its one thing you dont want to skimp on and its really not worth worrying about an extra 10 or 20 bucks more if they cost that much more back in the day where we were mixing gas in the tank with oil is wasnt a big deal as the 2 stroke oil luricated the fuel line inside. today its oil injection and your only running gas through those cheap things.

thats a strong butt motor. my buddy has a 2005 225 merc on his gambler and he doesn't get it serviced other than a few impellers. and 2 sets of plugs in 13 years only problem he has had with it since he owned it was a fuel pump. if you ever replace one its easy and cheap just dont put it in backwards like he did or you will be down for a few weeks trying to figure out what he did wrong he fished 3-4 times a week in it up until 4 years ago, then it sat for 1+ year and he might go out now twice a month. since summer is coming and he has more time he will be fishing 2-4 times a week again in it. never failed to start or run, did run crappy with a cracked membrane on the fuel pump but still ran. just put oil in it use quality 2 stroke oil not cheap crap from wallmart, auztozone checker etc and youll be good to go. oh yeah remember a 2 stroke is a high performance motor they dont like to be babied, running them at idle for long periods of time will clog them up ( the efi's not so much) but open that thing up once a trip on the lake to clean all the build up out of them. and if your new to boats, make sure you learn how to use the trim, you watch your rpms for proper trimming and the ride. not trimming correctly will make you not like your boat in the 1st 2 or 3 outings. will also load up the motor cause it to be slugish.

Didnt they close the Forrest a few times over the last 10 years? Hunting and fishing was still legal and you could only use the roads that were open. there was no camp fires allow( and maybe no camping as well) and you just had to hike in to hunt. I was thinking that was kiabab Forrest like 5 years ago?? On a side note we do get alot of forrest fires around turkey season from campers. we had talked about that a bunch of years ago on another website. basically turkey season meant the start of fire season.
