sunset sports was ok but I loved smitty's great fishing and hunting dept. wife got groceries and crap for the house. I got guns and fishing crap for me it was a win win. heck even got a cat out of there dumpster for a pet. the hunting and fishing dept would order anything you wanted. no ffl fees no extra charges anything. I bought an automag there when they 1st came to the public. sold it a few weeks later to one of the guys who worked there cause i didnt like it. wish I would have kept it.

A buddy of mine and some of his friends did that in selha Washington back in the late 70's when the local res wanted to get rid of some wild mustangs a ton of them. basically you catch them you can keep them. I believe they got 3. the Indians just laughed at them and said good luck. 2 of them were shot and sold for dog meat with in a year cause they were the meanest nastiest animals in the world. the other one his friend still had when I moved in late 81. the thing broke out its fencing like every 2 weeks or so cost a ton of money in vet bills to other horses. and chewed the crap out of his arm requiring major stitches and surgery. he still kept it cause his girlfriend then wife liked it.made a good guard dog though, no one road horse along the road of his property one one walked along the fence line along his property either. even the mail man refused to go deliver the mail until he built pen on the back side of the of the property.

Muzzle breaks are great but they will kill your hearing.even with muffs or plugs I wouldnt do it on any kids gun for that reason only

ive done that with 2 great horned owls and one harris hawk and one eagle owls are bad butt and extreamly callm. the 2nd owl I and a buddy were going duck hunting, driving to horseshoe on the old dirt road saw a dead ringtail cat laying dead. got out to cut its tail offf and a owl decided he wanted it. landed right next to it. as I was cutting its tail off. so I picked it up , grabbed teh ringtail cat through it in the bed of the truck and the owl in the back seat my buddy kept yelling no Del. went another 1/2 mile to our duck spot. put the owl on the tail gate and he chowed down on the ringtail we went hunting a few hours later came back and the owl was sititng on the edge of the bed. tossed the ringtail on the ground put the owl back in the truck drove home. thing hung around the house for years in the big tree. would land on the picnic table on patio every once in a while and I would feed it. every once in a while wewould see it or another owl again in the tree. last sighting of a owl in our tree was around 5 years ago I caught the owl in the early 80's. harris and eagle were with same hunting partner in seligman while shooting p-dogs both had broken wings by the tall power poles sought of the old mobile station a few years apart. buddy held both of those in his hands wrapped in a towel driving back to phoenix both happened on holiday weekends so I kept them in garage for a few days then called I believe liberty wildlife. it was before they got big back in late 80's early 90's only ones in valley that did wild birds. at that time. we got some cool video on VHS if I ever convert it to new stuff. the harris I could feed with bare hands but only I, wife and friends it would try to claw them the eagle we just had 2 days. both Tim pender knew about owls always freaked my wife out cause they would be facing away from her till she opened door then would spin head around to look at her usually upside down. Friend of mines 1st hunt ever was a late muzzy cow tag for this unit years ago. same thing he never hunted big game never owned a muzzy and never stepped foot in that unit. he scouted his butt off when he could get off work 1st 2 days of the hunt he didnt see crap(sat at many water holes) and only heard one shot. we talked a bit on the phone I told him to start walking on top of any hills he see. he saw bulls (of coarse cause he had a cow tag) and finally saw a cow then more cows just before dusk. he call me up said he needed help packing it out from the bottom of a canyon. he was on the south part of the unit. they are there just got to find them dont think bad about it just start looking every chance you get.if you start off worrying you might as well stay home cause it will mess up your game. go out have a good time and put as much effort into it you can. people killed them every year same unit same hunts why cant that be you? me personally I cant sit at a water hole or anywhere for that long(more than a hour), I like to walk the hills and canyons

lots of changes to the archery season also. unit 8 is now open in aug dec and 1st part of jan years past it was aug and jan only. dec hunt is going to be a blast. kids out of school Christmas holidays its a win win.

Start Emailing and calling commissioners they will have the final say, not you I or even PETE. Pete and his Merry Men have a little more appeal to the commissioners, and they know how to get in with them. so its a good idea to start hammering the commissioners immediately. At least during the commision meeting they will have it in the back of there mind what the public wants/ thinks vs PETES group. those who get to the commissioners 1st wins so too speak.

Daughters been buying from alibaba since she was 14. I dont like it cause its chinese garbage but hey thats my opinion and she dont listen to me anyhow. she gets it almost immediately. out of hundreds of oprders ,never been ripped off and if she is short on an order or one is broken they send another one over night. she uses a store bought credit card for purchases. heck sometimes they have sent the entire order of 50-100 pcs again for just one being broken. she tells them she got to many they said dont worry about it. she does ship them to the shop however and not home addy.

id be cool if you suggested it if you dont mind, it may make them more credible to people who dont trust them from the past. Its all about transparency. Thats what screwed up the round table meetings was a few people decided to go behind the backs of others including game and fish and things were said and done with them representing a group they really didnt represent except for the 3-4 people. One G&F guy almost lost his job because of there dirty tactics and they planned the whole time to get this guy out too. he was one of the coolest most listening guy of the bunch too.

I don't know if there will be one at this meeting. Do they take meeting mins at these things?notes? When a few of us way back when were setting up the game and fish round table meetings. Minutes were always taken. Why cause it was an meeting that could change fisheries and also brought info to those who werent able to attend those meetings.
