I know the feeling, I been saying that for 5 years. paid 1500 for the truck about 8-10 years ago. 97 4x4 1500 ram extended cab. body it fantastic dash board looks like a gernade blew up on the top of it. I only need the truck to get me 1.2 miles to work and 1.2 miles home everyday. figured when the tires wore out I would sell it and get a new one, instead I got 4 used tires for it for 100 bucks lol. has minor oil leak so dont have to change oil, its self changing just pop a filter in once a year. batts every 2 years. I dont drive it on the free way as I dont like the front end and should be rebuilt.. plus we have the duramax for going places. one of these days soon though I'm going to have to buy a new truck. but if I can hold off till may of 2019 I can drive my daughters jeep as she is going into the Marine Corps and wont be needing it for a while besides she driving the dodge now till I get her jeep motor rebuilt.

I have the same truck but a 97. same problem been driving me crazy for a while feels like a miss with a real heavy load. and it idles high and low than stalls sometimes mines intermitant. does on me for days than quits and runs good. I check for vacumm leaks and made sure the air cleaner was goo. guy told me it was the ventruri gasket or some bs like that around the intake( tahts one of the causes on the internet as well). I haven't tried that yet Because I had to put a new batt in it , and had some issues starting ie dead found out that my ground on the engine and frame were bad and missing and also my starter wires (positive ones) were loose on the start as well as the link between the 2.. might be worth a try. been purring like a kitten since.(2 months now) I have 285,000k on it too.

No not in the dumpster but there is a few safe haven places with no questions asked if I recall. fire stations QT'S and some other joints. Just lie about there age It is illegal to throw them in dumpsters most places due to the heavy medals and crap they use in them. Most dumps won't take them and they have to be specially recycled. I run into the same issue with ballast from lighting fixtures. So I have 2 tv's and about 50 ballast and am waiting for a "green day" to go drop them off and not have to pay for it. Besides I would hate to see them outlaw big screen tv's due to the fact condors are eating them and dying from heavy metal poisoning. I was talking about the kids, not the tvs.

Barnes bullets are extreamly accurate. only problem is after 5-10 shots accuracy deteriorates fast due to high velocities and loading up the rifling . killed a few small couse deer in unit 33 with them in my 22-250 out to about 350-400 yards. most non lead bullets do ok for hunting. but the bottom line its not a requirement or mandatory to use them. so if someone doesn't want to who cares. still have yet to seen ONE dead crow , hawk bald eagle owl ect etc in the killing fields of seligman. back in the 80's to mid 90's we were up there every weekend during the spring summer and fall 2000+ rounds a weekend easy.

I'm with eagle I'm not a watch guy, basically not a time guy, if I get there on time great if not oooops That beings said My Father left our son a Rolex from the 60's that he bought when he made Chief. up until the day he passed is was never NOT worn by him except while sleeping shower etc etc.. it never failed him in all the years he had it. I been thinking of getting one of those automatic winders that keep it wound up. pretty cool watch , the machine work is flawless if your into that sort of thing.

What tag did the wife or I draw?12aw late hunt or 3a3c mule deer

Granted this is one article there are plenty more BOTH for bullets being a cause and NOT being a cause. and YES did this all started with liberals in Ca claiming the sky is falling. Its kinda like global warming you have some crack pots saying its happening and some crack pots saying its not. truth is, like California Condors sure it happens but not like its hyped up to be. especially not to make hunters feel guilty about it. if that's the case anyone that hunts with lead and then claims hunters are uneducated goons is a hypocrite science or not they spew shoot out of there mouths when its convenient for a cause and vise versa(both sides) http://www.huntfortruth.org/wildlife-and-species/california-condor/ -

Dude did you even read the research? The paper Profiles of Mortality by Church et al clearly explains the method for verifying that the lead found in condors was consistent with ammunition. And please why would a liberal give a crap about you shooting copper? 23 out of a total population of 350 condors died from eating lead so its not simply stating that condors will die because eagles did, but they tested condors as well, guess what, they died too. There is lots of research on this and its not just liberals saying the sky is falling. Its actually the opposite, researchers who support hunting and fishing are asking sportsmen to make a really simple adjustment in their behavior to help benefit the ecosystem. AES, ADA, ADBSS, AAS all agree with the non-lead recommendation. Please point to some kind of research that supports any of these claims that only one condor died and it was from 300 pieces of lead? Please provide the sources. These kinds of issues are where we as sportsmen must hold each other accountable. If you dont agree with me, fine, please have some scientific findimg that suppprts your argument and doesnt make all hunters look like uneducated goons who only care about their own interests. Read a ton of it over the years as well as a ton of other things to debunk it. do I think its happens yes not as bad as they say but it doesnt happen. shoot happens kids die of it as well. Funny though I am surprised that 3/4 of the worlds population isnt dead from lead poisoning. let alone 90% of the navy in the early years till the 70's if I recall there was about 5 of them they claimed to have died from bullet fragments. 2 or 3 in Ca died of lead poisoning in the 90s? the claimed it was from the seeps the birds were drinking from if I recall on a side not if its something you really believe in good for you. and I hope every round you shoot is lead free anywhere in the states. if not your part of the uneducated goon squad like the rest of us. something to think about is why isnt the desert littered with birds of prey after dove season -

While I enjoy seeing some azkiller bashing. He is correct to a point. theres a ton of natural lead in the cliffs where there are condors and in the drinking water seeps. it is more of a liberal screaming the sky is falling than anything else.. Just because something has lead bullet fragments in its digestive tract and dies of lead poisoning doesn't mean the thing died of lead poisoning from eating lead bullet fragments. they use the excuess that condors are scavengers and thats why they get lead poisoning so easy. but thats not entirely true. look at the prairie dog killing feilds eagles hawks and a ton of animals eat the dead carcasses all the time almost every day and you dont see them dropping out of the sky or find them dead all the time. the lead thing is bad no if ans or butts about it. but some common sences has to come into play instead of claiming the sky is falling -

I have a bunch of these old ruger 77 rifles with the tang safety, you will never find a more accurate rifle both in bull and standard barrles. One that I am missing is the 25-06 in a bull barrel. Free bump cause I have to by a ac unit for the shop this week, other wise I would be in cottonwood in 1 hour.

Especially shotguns, ya need one in every gauge and every manufacturer

Dont care what the reviews say. its all personal preference iike Chevy vs a yugo like a mossberg pump vs a Remington, mossbergs are cheap and they work dang good for the money I actually like the mossberg pump better than the Remington pump cause it fits me better. then the Remington. Ithaca 10 gauge vs the Remington 10gauge when they came out ithaca was a good gun as well and lots cheaper then a remington nothing wrong with the m3500 its inexpensive and works, The camo ones are awsum looking. I just don't like the feel of it, and its not near as smooth as the benille. Only thing I shoot the 3.5's for is yotes turns them into flying furballs. all my duck hunting is with a O/U 20 gauge 3" mag or my mossberg pump same deal with O/U heck they all work they all shoot but there aint one O/U thats will out shoot or better balanced that a Miruku Charles daily from the 60's. my Winchester 101 is a close second but then again it was built in the miruku factory the same year. I have over 20 O/U from Beretta. browning, Winchester Remington and mirukus only one I am missing is the ruger red labels my favorite again is the Miruku in a 20 gauge 3" mag for shooting skeet and of coarse my 1100(they dont have choke tubes either) I am kinda of biased cause I competed with shotguns since I was 8 and stopped at 22 hundreds of thousands of rounds and the main one was a 20 gauge 1100 that I won when I was 8.

haha yeah you have a good point
-
Can you blame it Nobody wants to visit Tucson
-
I tried to like them just didnt like the feel fit wise, but then again I am biased cause once I shot that benillie I was in heaven. that benille is as smooth as my Winchester 101's and citories . the action smoothness reminds me off the browning auto 5 from way back when except it doesnt have that slam the browning has.

I wonder if 777 and Brother drew one of those special deer tags again this year.

I don't know about Rinella but I know Randy and I know him fairly well for years-close to 20?. hes a really good down to earth guy and has done a ton for Montana and the average hunter. on the political side. we met once or twice just before and after he bought hunttalk from moosie. which was one of the coolest hunting websites on the net ( because I ran it and set it up almost from its conception ) I dont like to watch tv hunting or fishing shows as there all full of bullshit and fake. Randys shows in the early years were awsum I havent seen any in the last few years but pop on the website every now and then and always enjoyed reading his hunting stories especially with old friends. Randy always cared more about the average hunter than himself. he was full of energy when I knew him. always in meetings with game and fish DNR etc etc and he fought very hard for hunters
