Some odd reason home pc doesnt see this site nor does celphone on wifi. work I have no problem Yup were it flattens out. you can walk the roads and see them on the bigs rocks. they look like what amanda posted. we didnt find any shells just the marking in the sandy type rocks. Daughter I and a friend tried to dig one of the good ones that had many of them in it out. but we soon realized the rock would need a forklift to get out.. if you take the road to bypass jacob lake and goto ferdonia you can get out almost anywhere where the rock hills goto the flats and see them. I forget the road number its one of the major dirt roads heres some pics of the EXACT Spot. thats on the 12bwest boarding 12a just guessing but I think the rocky area was the shore way back then or a depth were the shell creatures lived or dried up. the trilliobite was on top about 6miles south of jacobs lake in the forrest over looking a small canyon. pics also included but you'll have to figure that one out ;)

Those are cool You want to find some really cool ones goto the west side of 12b west where the pines meet the scrubs/grass and sage. (mainly where is rocky. they are all over in tact in bedded in huge boulders and stone. once my kid saw her 1st one it took us 3 hours to walk back to the truck which was like a 5 min walk to begin with. amazing what they can see being so short to the ground 1st fossil I ever found was in 2000 right where I parked my truck at the same camp in 12 west since 82 every archery season and rifle deer season and everytime we went grouse/turkey or varmit hunting. oldest daughter goes dad I wanna look for fossils I told her good luck Ive never seen one in my life. she does that 11 year old whining lets go fossil hunting. I look at the ground reach down pick up a trilobite (sp) and say here you go lets go deer hunting now.. craziest thing ever. sitting right next to my feet in plain daylight about 4 x 6". I have a pic somewhere ill ry to dig it out

Depends on the country your hunting. if your shots are going to be over 75 yards scope. if your going to be under and calling open sights on a Ar. all my varmit rifles have scopes my yote guns that have scopes but only use them in very open areas, other wise its the ar or shotgun. with a scope you cant get on target fast enough for a yote in under 50 yards in the desert. this year I am using a 30-30 with open sights just for fun. been meaning to pick up a dot, just havent yet. from what I have seen of them and the friends That have them. it should work really well. and no limit your speed. remember most yotes come in fast and unless you have open ground you rarely see them till they are on top of you. we hunt them alot with a bow, few years back I bought a recurve to try instead of my compound cause its basically instinctive shooting where I hunt unless I am sitting on a hill but like I said it all depends the type of terrain you hunt in. on the bright side you cn alsoway take it off if it doent work in certain areas then put it back on in areas where you need it. just make sure you have decent mountss

Wish I had that tag this year, I have to wait till archery season. f the farm feilds get on any rise before light and watch the movement till about noon. you will find really nice ones not close to farm feilds and you will find small and average ones next to farm feilds all day long every day. saw one of the biggest bucks I ever seen in the desert there. closest farm felid was 4-5 miles away. this ground was flat and sandy with one rise he was bedded below us 60 feet while 4 of use were taking and glassing for yotes to pick off.. Daughter and I chased (we had bows in truck) that thing for a few weeks till end of year everyday after school and work. saw it everyday just couldnt get into archery distance for a 12 year old with a light bow. they only shot she had the wind was blowing 60MPH so she passed. I had shots but wanted her to connect. I would have probably missed anyhow. also if you want a deer and not picky just hunt along i-10 there everywhere with in 400 yards of that highway all day every day. tons of does spikes forkeys 3x3s and some spindley 4+ good luck this is what the terrain looks like, the buck bedded every single day on the right side just over the riser. followed him about 7 miles to this spot. Imagine that right off the freaking road a few hundred yards even. she like her dad cant pass up a varmit no matter what she's hunting. yup thats a throat shot

Thats a hard one to answer as there are too many varibles. if one of the kids or there close kid friends has a tag. I bust my butt for them. if its my tag when ever I feel like it as its not a big deal to me. Family and work comes 1st hunting comes after that. daughters 1st archery elk hunt we spent the whole archery season for deer and elk out in the woods 4-5 days a week. thursday night till monday noon. come back work 12 + hours a day and take off again. 2nd elk tag the very next year the same. 3rd elk tag the next year we went up for 4 days had the time of our lives and I went back to work. The 1st 2 elk hunts I felt bad for my wife and our son as I didnt spend any time with them from aug till end of sept. then we started scouting for daughters friends rifle deer tag nov and dec I didnt see much of the boy and wife either. we hunt hard from sun up till sun down daughter loves it. we cover a ton of ground. see lots of cool stuff. I hunt harder for for yotes than I do anything else. owning your own business requires you to be at work alot no time off. when I had a real job it was work then hunting(wife went all the time). no kids, we would spend aug to sept in units 12 and 13 every year.1st 2 years of our 1st daughter we were up there for weeks will say this the best hunts were always with the kids wether they tagged or not. then when we had 2 kids I switched to fishing and took the kids ou every day after school. fished an average of 4-5 days a week up until 8 years ago.

Kinda like the old days when the only thing on dirt roads were logging trucks and pick-up trucks. logging trucks always won. problem is everyone doesnt like to stay on there side of the forrest road, they drive down the middle of the road like they own it Trucks included. most people dont slow up around a corner let alone stay to there right. so someone coming up the other way your going to have an accident. bigger truck always wins. if people would quit being in such a dang hurry all the time the accidents would drop way down. no need to go 40-60MPH down a dirt road unless you can see 1-2 miles a head of you. these smaller vehicles will handle better on dirt roads thats why your seeing them with high rates a speed. where as a pickup truck will beat you to death on a dirt road going over 20 so you tend to limit your speed via how much punishment you can take, or if the wife is in the Back seat bitching cause your going to fast(never put the wife in the front seat ;) ) buddy and I got in a pretty bad one up on the 300 road when it was snowed in. (bad meaning no one got hurt seriously just both vehicles destroyed. he was being a dipshit in his brand new truck sliding corners in the snow. I warned him alot. so was the other guy coming the other way same deal and his girlfreind/wife was chewing him out. bam both trucks hit and went over a small embankment beat the crap out of the trucks. totaled my buddies and pretty much the other guys. Me and the other guys girlfreind/wife sat there and watched these to idiots yell at each other of whos fault it was for an hour. tow truck bills were pricey that was just to payson as both had cabins north of payson.. would have sucked to be towed to phx. Insurance claimed stupidity on both drivers. buddies rates went way up he was only 21 at the time. one reason I dont take the quad up unless its a weekday

I am a huge .243 fan and have a bunch of them in different brands. The .243 is a super accurate round. my favorite one is a m77r (older ruger with tang safety) and the ruger #1b Ive shot thousands of rounds in one of my 77r heavy barrel guns and it still drives tacks all day long. I dont like the feel of the newer ones. the 700 Remington is pretty nice as well. Cant go wron with Winchester Ruger or Remington 700 bdls. they all should shoot 1/2" groups even the old ones. if they dont it just needs a good barrel soaking with sweets

Interesting, our son takes or I should say did take lisinipril for the lat 20 years. he had heart surgery at 6 months and this was suppose to build his heart muscles. last 2 years he has been drained, now granted he is very active especially for a kid with Down syndrom. last 6-7 years his throat always bothered him while eating mostly. 3 weeks ago he got a stomach bug at least we thought. no biggy puked up every 2 hours about 9pm he quit puking. wife went take a shower and hit the bed. she heard him puking again. she came out and there was blood(black) everywhere. we ran him to the hospitol immediately at 2am. test after test they didnt have an answer. about 3 days later they decided the licinapril was the cause of extreamly low blood pressure which he always had. only explanation they have for the blood and sore throat was he had a small irritation in his espohigus (sp) . hospitol said no more licinapril ever. because its lowering his blood pressure. we have a appointment for a throat/gi doc next week, there going to scope him which I hate to put him through but I think it need to be done.. by chance have you had hear burn alot when on it? our son gets heart burn alot. try to see if you can have a link for post in last 24 hours., Ive kept that on my forums from the old days and then everyone is happy with the options they get. I'm not sure how they would do it on this software. this will also help if someone is logged in or not logged in or has cookies on or off on there pc. cookies mess with everything. BTW the stickies/ pinned stuff not being there makes it much easier to read. the forum.

to help Amanda, you guys having issues should say if you are using a cel phone or regular PC. everytime you post a question. including the type of celphone ie android, i-phone tablet etc etc reason I say that is because a cellphone works completely different on forums and quite honestly the celphone version is a PAIN in the A$$ trying to decipher on any Forum software. I been using Vbulletin since it 1st came out close to 20+ years . I know it extremely well. when they started the cellphone version of it screwed me and our users all up. alot of the problems are different types of celphones as well like apple vs the other one then on top of that the different softwares they use. Unlike pcs running a windows platform the celphone companies have NO standard. I finally said heck with it and told the celphone users there on there own and I will figure it out when I can and have the time. if you have a celphone run the run like desktop or what ever that three dot thing calls it its much easier until she gets the bugs taken care of. when you have a custom site like this one even if its just color changes style changes font changes etc etc it really screws with the celphone side again do to the different celphone platforms

I like the forum but then again I use a real computer and monitor. ONE thing that is getting extremely irritating is that there are so many f'n sticky's in campfire that you only get 6 real posts after scrolling all the way down to the bottom .then it goes to the next page. get rid of the stickys or put them in there own forum or even take 99% of them off Campfire. also could length the page so it holds more posts if people really think the "Stickys" are necc.

it worked on my 68 bronco back in the day as well as our pickups.. the whole key is to make sure the cable doesnt hit the hood and windshield frame. bronco we laid down the Winfield and put a pulley on the tow bar. the only problem we ever had was with the older warn 8000' with out a roller bumper. the cable would rub the cover on the winch. on the trucks we just strapped a pulley to a branch and then another branch. kinda a mickey mouse set up but were talking back in the late 70's and a bunch of dumb kids. we found it much easier to take a chainsaw cut the elk up and toss it into the back of the truck, or use the other guys trucks winch and pulley lift it then drive the other vehicle under it.

Most of your guys camera stealing/missing is more than like done by these groups PETA and other animal rights activist. dont rule out people telling these groups where they have seen game cameras.(curious of there is a website to report game cameras that they follow Forrest service employees if the camera in fact is against the laws in that forrest service Hunting guides especially carrying bolt cutters or grinders. its one of the 3 above some dumb hunter who doesnt like cameras isnt going to pack in a bolt cutter or grinder. the will do something else Like piss all over the place take a dump. cover the lens etc etc there not going to be too technical about it.

Yes he legally can my oldest daughter did so at the age of 10 or 11. if you someone that I know and can vouche for you I have a .243 savage stainless steel striker pistol with scope and ammo and its good out to 400 yrds easy. you can even put a bipod on it. I dont mind loaning a firearm to a kid as long as I know someone that knows the Parents and its ok with the parents and they are with ones with him. Trust me NO you dont,. moderators and most admins are biased. Ive seen it happen manys times. I think Amanda runs a good site admin wise. she doesnt let her bias's if there is any get the best of her on what people can or cant. A forum can run by its self wit NO moderation or mall cops especially an instate forum. why because the state is small and members will run into one another at some time. only think that should be not allowed on any forum is porn( at least in public ;) ) people threatening to harm someone and any and I mean any talk about peoples young children in a bad way. those are automatic bans everything else should fly. everyone has an option whether we like them or not. moderators are 99.999% biased and will listen to there friends to try and be cool or beat there chest. even people you might like will piss you off from time to time. internet cops should be left to fagbook and twatter police one. private forums dont need them especially a local hunting or fishing sight. anyone who has a forum that needs moderation has the wrong type of forum and or definately the wrong crowd. I agree with what Dave is saying always had before he said it, the way its presented sounds like a 3 year old standing in line throwing a tantrum because the 3 year old cant have a piece of candy. on he other hand I do like the fact that fools are paying someone to scout for them. to me it shows laziness and someone who just has to have a participation trophy for showing up. theres no hunting involved might as well hire a guide. also its funny cause if one person buys the package theres going to be a ton more that buy it as well.

theres a few reasons to hunt with supressors number one is because you LEGALLY CAN. other plus are you dont destroy your ears thats tied with number one. hunting yotes allows your to stay in a stand longer.

Congrats, Kids are aswum and alot of fun. Daughters are the best hunters and outdoor type stuff friends to have.

This is some funny crap. you hunters are way behind the times and the cost is ridiculously low, shoot we used to get $100+ for a gps coordinates for local tourny honey holes for fishing. Then guys at tournys use to cry and I mean literally with tears and tantrums about guys fishing there secret spots. that was like 15 years ago... I got gps spots for the waterfall at Pleasant if anyone wants them. of course its either pics of nude wives/girlfriend or 100 bucks.
