Your a Tool. My point being is your dont know if your going to get drawn or not there is no guarantee. you can chase the points all you want and you may or may not get lucky. every single one of my tags came with 4 max points the last 3 elk tags came with 0-1 point. he has a decent chance of getting drawn where ever he puts in. but it also depends on how many OTHER people put in for the same unit with that many points or more. with that many points he should put in for a unit he knows,

you guys put too much into the point game. 4-5 years ago I put in for elk again we got 3 years in a row early archery bull I got 1st tag gave to kid, next year daughter got tag then the following year I got tag and gave it to kid. before that would get a rifle bull elk tag about every 2-3 years always the same units. from the 80s to mid 90's I got 3 bull elk tags but put in when I had someone to put in with. only went on 2 hunts elk dotn do anything for me lol rifle Antelope the same way back in 97 98 and 2001 same unit think those were the years gave the daughter the last one. My system is easy I put in what I want to hunt and where I want to hunt. if I dont get drawn no biggy if I do fantastic I got yote hunting and archery deer much better and funner. only tag I really wanted from day one is a ram tag. been putting in since the 80s, the others are just fillers now that I dont have any kids to give tags too anymore I probably wont draw another tag.

This ^^^^^ take a drive up the seven springs road, foxs in the hills /rocks and yotes in the flats. fox's are easy to call in. I don't know how far you have to go past seven strings but there will be signs saying no hunting or private property. that seven springs road(forget the exact name) comes out at i-17 by bloody basin cool drive lots of places to hunt. we used to go the road to horseshoe alot but that was years ago and tonto forrest changed alot.

You know I think I heard this before and thinking thats why I never used the powder due to it was effected by high temps like we have in AZ. I dont load max loads or even close but the pressure spike in high temps would bother me. Thanks for the memory Jog and heads up.

Any of you guys heard of this stuff. I bought 8lbs when it 1st came out as some friends were using it and loved it. Been sitting in one of my safes since. Cant find any loading data on it. It came out with a sheet of loads and so far I havent been able to turn up that sheet. its a slow burning powder. Figured some of you older guys or lance might have heard of it or used it. back in the day. Thanks

Thanks Yeah I forgot powder companies changed alot in 10 years I haven't loaded but maybe 2 times in 8-10 years. Now that my BIL comes here very weekend to shoot Since my Daughter is still in pensicola, figured I would start loading and start shooting again. who has the best deals on nosler ballistic tips all cal. usually buy 500 to 1000 at a time, ran out of 6mm's today I'm pretty set in 6mm and 224 cal Bergers and 270 and 25cal ballistic tips , found all these when I cleaned off the table in the back Garage

I am curious why it was discontinued, might make a call this week to winchester to find out. Read below he's right on. When we were in Japan we used to buy huge amounts of 700x for shotguns as both dad and I shot tournament trap and skeet. we left in 76/77 dad shipped about 20 kegs back with our household goods. we shot that powder here in the states up until the late 90's. I'm looking for what it can be used in I have like 20 cals I load. .416 rigby .300 winmag 7mm remington mag are the main ones and 45-70. I found this pdf this am. looks liek it can be used in the .243 but dang the pressures ar HIGH 56K I thought I saw.
