if hes a normal sized 8 year old 20 gauge in a rem 1100 thats what I started out with. at 8 I was shooting competition skeet against adults, then I won one in a skeet tourny at about 8-1/2 still have it today. 410 is a fun gun to hunt doves with, but new shooters will get disgruntled easy due t the lack of shotgun time and way less pellets. . but shooting a 410 will make you quick and a very good shot over the years. and there alot of fun shooting skeet and trap with.

cool vid. 1st time I took all 3 kids bear hunting we had one walk right in front of the truck off stoneman lake rd and I-17. was heading down stoneman lake road about a mile off freeway. had a canyon I like to sit and glass, Oldest daughter was telling youngest( Claudia) that bears are always out in this canyon but dad always has his bow, this time he has a rifle so we wont see any. then all of a sudden one appeared in front of the truck. they all got to see it and yell shoot it shoot it.. we pulled over kids looking out window kinda pissed cause I didnt shoot it.

I dont see the fascination with dogs, we had quite a few of them over the years. they reminds me of a liberal. most cant do anything for themselves, the beg and whine alot, cant be left alone etc etc. Cats on the other hand are self sufficient, self entertaining. not to mention if you get one that wants to learn they can trouble shoot CNC equipment , keep and eye on the machines and even lend a hand to inspection.

I like Full metal jackets as well. plus they dont bust up if you miss and hit dirt. but i'm a crappy shot with a bow. Daughter loves gold tips accuracy wise your not going to find anything better for targets or animals. she uses grim reapers cut on contact 100 grain with them in her hunting bows. her target bows some fancy target tip. her hunting bow she has dialed in with the goldtips and shoots just as well as her target bows but her x count is a tad off on the hunting bow. I think anymore all the hunting arrows are just as good as others, just gotta choose between metal ones and carbon ones.

The Marines even taught her how to tie her boots too Kinda an inside joke as when we hunt/hike she never ties her boots. I noticed it one day in a picture after we hiked one of her favorite canyons on a elk hunt. she sent me some vids of them taking off tonight with the sun setting and dark way cool.

Kid sent me this picture today, shes on a mini deployment (she called it something else) her and a few other mechanics , 2 cobras and huey went to wine country in CA area for some training. a little over one year since she went to basic, then went to pensicola Fla for airframe and hydraulic training after that she went to camp pendelton and been there for the last 4 months working on hueys and cobras. she loves it. shes hoping to get a ride in one soon.

Had a fun one back in 1996-9. used to buy tons of guns from wholesalers mostly high dollar shotguns and rifles. a bunch of buddies wanted sks and aks (old school good stuff ) so called this wholesaler in Ca. order from them for about a year. one day BATF came to the house asked to see my books. NP asked me about this particular wholesaler. showed them a few of the guns we just recieved matched the records etc etc. when it was all done and they were leaving they told me what was going on. this wholesaler was also selling illegal guns in a back up business direct from china. if I remember correctly a bunch of those guns had the same serial numbers 1 or 2 of them were also in my book and in my safe. Seems china was running guns through this wholesaler and had guns with duplicate serial numbers as well as this wholesaler selling to gangs in LA and mexico, they were also mocking up invoice's after the sale with the serial numbers that they sold legally to dealers not to mention full autos. never heard a word about it after ATF left that day. my wholesaler in Phx told me that a few people in AZ had the same issue.

pretty much any unit that has elk will have elk sheds . personally I would stay on the south side of unit 9 in the junipers as well as in the junipers on the north side. Pines have them but junipers is where its at. unit 6a as well. Lots of units closer than unit 9 to you.

you tag a coues and you keep your coues points I mean whos going to know you dont need to fill out the survey. too faulty. the only way to do this would be to put the archery season and any other season that has "any antlered deer? to be specific mule deer only or whitetail deer only. which in turn means all archery tags would need to be draw only.

I should have mentioned then point deal as the 2 deer was kinda being sarcastic. I knew what you meant. but the point deal and the application process would be f'd. the sheep tags have either or depending on the hunt desert bighorn or rocky but the points you loose no matter what one you get drawn for. you dont get to keep them for one if you get drawn for the other. the other one is there are hunts with both species in the any antlered deer Like explained above. and of course the archery season.
