Well said. JJ is a big boy, hard for a guy to walk like that one uneven ground. That was a heck of a shot 1019 he said he had it dialed in at. and he hit it BOTH times.

I dont think its a "I feel I own the land" issue as much as "I dont give a f'k issue", but it could be like trphyhntr going to a bar and thinking I aint going home empty handed tonight I dont care how big she is, as he sneaks out the back with her.

Suggestions for bow hunting son that his father can’t give
Delw replied to apache12's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
Unit 8 is a good unit for deer there are lots of them. we alwasy hunted south west and south east parts of the unit along the edge of the canyon. the east side east of JD and south towards sycamore creek look out has the most deer. most are small but some decent ones. we've sat water its useless usually with in a mile of water just start to look around. park at J.d. Dam and walk south around those canyons 1-3 miles. the road to Sycamore point has a ton of deer off it, you will usually see 25-50 in one drive in the morning with about 5-10 bucks above forked horns, like I said tons of deer but mostly smaller ones and lots of coues this time of the year. once you clear the pines on the point road and get into the grass after the curbe before the long straight stretch park walk out to the west side on the edge of the canyon walk south along the top of the canyon. they bed in there and also play and eat on the edge The west side has way better bigger bucks, but your not going to see as many 10-20 a day maybe. with an occasional very nice one. Daughter and I spent 5 full seasons up there with the exception of labor day weekend. Pine hollow just to the west and south is your best bet. BTW driving the roads in the middle of the day especially when its hot like going back to camp for a nap if you look good enough you will see them bedded in small thickets of pines with grass all the way around. once you find deer hunt those areas. I'm planning on going up the last week of the hunt for 4 days as it looks to be cooling off. -
see you left out some important details.

Well again your wrong. dang Kevin Pay attention you gave a one sides biased version of what happened. I have no issue with bill persay. On the classifieds, I feel that everyone using it should be also posting, not these one shot clowns in which thats all they do, They come in to sell stuff and thats it, it turns a Forum in a craigslist. I also dont feel a Classified section should be used for I need work for my business search I dont care who it is. if you allow one to do it then you have to allow everyone to do it. you know how many business that are on CW. You want to see every tom dick and harry posting they need work? Forgot to add: if they want to allow it make it a seperate forum and make people pay for it after all its advertising and that aint free. As far as no bull his help wanted ad looked legit, wether you me or everyone else likes him or not he is still a member here just like you me and everyone else. I'm a Non biased person AKA and Equal Opportunity hater I hate everyone but I am fair about it The thread should have never been Deleted it should have been LOCKED and I hated locking thread when I ran and owned forums. I have deleted maybe 5 threads since 1996? everyone of those where because of someone posting porn, of there exwife or someones elses wife they messed around with( most I have edited the names out or kid pictures). but when you delete them then people can make up all kinds of bullshit like whats been posted here to make someone look bad. When for once wasnt the bad guy

And we wonder why most Jurors vote they way they do in court case's., The witness's cant even get there stories straight and Others play the hearsay game. All nobull did was post a legitamate help wanted ad, then one person made a funny. (which was funnier than crap OZ ). then a few clowns posted, Then the one seeking drama and or personal attention. then all Heck broke loose and yet everyone Blamed NO Bull for some thing he didn't even do. so for ONCE NO bull didnt start anything and got Blamed for it.

On mine I use rem oil and other brands what ever I happen to fine at the time I need it ;) one thing I do buy because of the brand is sweets 7.62 and hoppes #9 for solvents. obviously the sweets is for inside the rifled barrels and the hoppes is for shotgun bores, actions, bolts, fire control groups etc etc and I also run it After I run the sweets in the rifled bores. Since most of my shotguns and rifles are safe queens They get greased once a year with frog lube(only have used this for about 2 years I think now) or this real thin grease I bought in the 90's from randals I forget the name but its old school Ill check on it when I get home late tonight if I remember. I have had a hard time finding it locally but I saw they still made it.. it comes off really nice when you want to use the firearm. frogs looked to be a tad heavier than this stuff. -

#9 meaning the solvent not on the wood. the oils I dont think would be a problem but I could be wrong Thats wood on the butt stock is nice -

one thing to think about #9 is that try to keep it off the wood especially Remington 1100 forearms. its real thin in some areas and the old saying was it will split the wood there. Dads older skeet and trap buddies always had that complaint about the 1100s back in the 60's. they always brought that up when I was cleaning mine after a shoot at the rod and gun clubs. I assumed it was all wood -

Ive used hoppes #9 to wipe down barrels and actions on shotguns, then wiped them down with oil. Ive seen the color before but if you look at #9 its the same color. I still have the shotguns today some are 50 years old -
Great pics and story as Always Congrats to both of you

no its a piece of Cake to do. depending on the bait casters I am speaking freshwater you DONT use greese, you use a very thin fine oil like a brand called rocket fuel. I am sure there are others., mineral spirits work well also for oiling the bearings just doesn't last as long so you have to re oil in a month or so depending on use. I used mine everday hundreds of casts and when I didnt have the oil handy I used the mineral spirits .
