Super long shot, but looking for 5 boxes. Gun shoots them phenomenally and already have a cut turret. Trying to avoid load development 😂

For $50 I’ll take it

I’ve got a couple boxes factory loaded federal 160 accubonds I’ll sell for cheap. They don’t group out of my rifle

Exactly as the title says. Looking to get the chimney swept for the wood burning stove at my buddy’s cabin in starlight pines early next week. Anyone have someone they recommend?

Recommend a concrete formed edging co?

Cutting edge curbing. Pretty sure they service the east valley. -
You can say that again 🤢

Anyone getting prepped for the second round of fall bear hunts? I filled my tag this spring, but I’ll be heading up to help my wife and my buddy and his wife tag out. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of 3 bears so far this year, including my own. That number should be quite a bit higher, but we’ve had 23 misses on bears, all at moderate range and all from some sort of SOBPS (sudden onset bear Parkinson’s syndrome 🤣) Who’s got some 2020 dead bear pics? First bear of 2020 and Hanks first ever. Ancient sow that should age around the 20 year mark My 2020 bear and by far my biggest. A touch over 6’10” and the skull is just over 20” My clients boar from August right around the 6’ mark.

Everyone has to shoot the day before to hunt, but the bear fever is real 🤷♂️ Lol. -

Dude it’s been bad. Pretty much all in the 200-400 yd range. A couple from 450-550 but the miss at 200 yds prone hurt my soul -
Last year was a little slow on big browns for me, but we did all right on chalks and hard whites. Ended up with a little over 80 elk sheds and 2 dozen or so deer sheds by the end of the year. Coolest ATL of the year Only brown set i found all year Fence line freebie about 300 yards from the bike Biggest set of the year. Probably 330 give or take Mid day stash pile for me and 2 of my buddies First pile to the buyer How did everyone else do?

So far they don’t, but the springs may have helped with that. Just added some mud-buster fender flares and that caused my buddy’s tires to rub a little bit. I’ll take that over the 100 lbs of mud thrown into the cab when it’s soupy 🙄

It’s been awesome so far. Put 30” ITP tires on it and the dual rate springs from shock therapy and it rides like a dream

Favorite Elk Bullet? Average shot distance in AZ?
Dpduckhunter13 replied to excaliber's topic in Elk Hunting
We’ve had great luck with the 6.5mm Eldx on deer sized animals and even a couple cow elk, but have not been impressed with the terminal performance on the 7mm or 30 cal versions under 200 yds. Seems like they tend to explode on impact when they’re over 3000 FPS or hit anything solid while traveling at high speeds. Had a bull last year eat 5 rounds from a 300 ultra at 150 yards. It died, but lots and lots of gaping holes entrance side and appeared only shrapnel entered the cavity. Upon reading a lot of internet (taken with a grain of salt because, well it’s the internet) and talking with a bunch of guys/guides who are a part of a lot of kills each year, the general consensus was it’s not an isolated incident. Shot placement is key of course, but they seem to be designed well for longer distance shots and not up close. Personally I went back to a regular accubond for most of my rifles, aside from the 6.5 hipster and a 7mm wsm that only likes 180 VLDs. -
Last year was as bad as I’ve ever seen for cross country quaders. Cutting fences, driving canyon benches, the flats looked like a motocross arena. Sucks people are so lazy.

It’s a Polaris General, we just always refer to it as “the bike” I never get lucky enough to find road sheds, but it seemed everyone else was too busy driving off the road once they got 200 yds off the main drag to actually find the ones laying 15 yards off the side road.
-
The Polaris General bike 🤣. I have a few buddies who bought the pedal assist bikes and will go 5-10 miles in to hunt and pick up sheds. Pretty slick setup but 2-3k is a tough pill to swallow.
