Hello this year me and my wife got drawn for unit 9 December rifle hunt. Just seeing if I could get any info about to or so help not looking for any homey holes or anything. But new to AZ elk hunting just got out of military and was lucky enough to get unit 9. I have read a little bit on it but anything helps thanks guys.

Puppy was found this morning at 12 thanks

Not to sure how far she traveled but seen her yesterday close to town about 2 miles away then back towards are camp again so I think she stayed within a mile or 2 I think

Update we found are GSP belle she came back to camp about 2 hours ago she is safe thanks so much to everyone for help and info.

Update we found our Gsp about two hours ago safe and sounds taking to vet to get checked out thanks so much everyone

Update belle are Gsp is safe and sound with us taking her to a vet to get checked out thanks to everyone for all the wishes and info really means a lot and just shows the hunting community is amazing.

Thanks yes we posted pictures all down the road and in main signs and also couple burn notice signs also have stopped every vehicle we see and give them one and posted all through the town.

Thanks we put articles of clothing that we have been wearing all weekend all around camp to give scent really appreciate everyone giving info and sending this out means alot

Lance that was going to be my next step. Also thought about putting it on my .308 cause I know it's dialed in with a factory scope.

Anyone have a Athlon argos btr ? Wondering thoughts how it did and what rifle people have them on? I got one on Remington 30-06 and shoots dime groups at 100yds then move to 200 and it's all over no groupings. Have been through about $200 plus in ammo trying to figure it out thinking maybe it's ammo. Don't think it's me saying I shoot 1" groups with my 308 howa stock scope at 200. Any thoughts? Or anyone have this scope on 30-06 or bigger with experience?

Hey just got new GSP puppy she is 9 weeks been told to get her out on live birds asap but vet told us we shouldn't take her any where and literally outside to bathroom and then back inside. Does that sound right? Do you just wait till 16 week before getting them on birds and just start with basic obedience and that's all? Just wanna keep her prey Drive up and hard to do when I can take her out to see live bird any tips suggestions would be awesome thanks guys.

Awesome ya that's what I thought working on obedience first but trying to train myself so me and her can have a good bond and be a cool experience for me. Just wanted to get other ideas about when to get them on birds , and not letting them out side much so thanks for info

Thanks everyone for the Info it means a lot and have already learned a lot from everyone's feedback so thank you and will keep everyone updated on how hunting and scouting goes and will get pictures

I received the December 1-7 bull hunt. And will probably scout 2-3 time before season maybe head up when muzzy season starts.
