Your sheep pic is in June issue.....I'm sure they pulled it from instagram or maybe from the outfitter you guide for if I have that info correct....

That's true i guess. I'll compromise, 2% studying, 98% luck! Love those red horned rams. What did. Yours score? After 60 day drying period my ram officially grossed just over 174 and netted 173 3/8.....

Im sure a lot of people over scored this ram..... I know I did...it's not an exact science when trying to score from pics.....

I heard auction Hunter took him with bow and grossed 183....but this is second hand info so don't quote me...

This sheep hunt can be very difficult but it was best hunt of my life......and can't wait to go back and help someone else fulfill their once in lifetime tag....

No.....not biggest ever but according to G&F records it is biggest ram to come from my unit in 25 years...... unless of course one of the other 3 tag holders takes a bigger one.

3 great rams?.....Do you know what the other 2 rams scored ? I know one scored 160 or so. The other one I don't know the score yet. Any idea what yours taped at?[/quote. Yeah.....I heard 160 also....and 159 on other one. Last Hunter was non-resident from Alaska on guided hunt but haven't heard how she did.... My ram was checked in by G&F at 172....

Was able to fill my deer tag with this buck. He won't score well due to his left side but he was a mature and older buck.

Hey now.....I've hunted unit 1 several times over the years and have met several great ethical people "hunters" there. Please do not put everyone in same category just because we hunt same unit....Greg
