I was watching Arrow affliction the other day. He was hunting Antelope in North and South Dakota. He took a bunch of Whitetail decoys painted them to look like Antelope and tagged out within the first hour of each hunt.

Matthews Limb Replacement Policy???
dchamsr06 replied to coues4u's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
If you are the original owner I believe they will replace the limbs. I had a problem with my Switchback limbs that the local dealer would not replace. I took pictures and went to the Mathew's website and emailed them to their service manager. They told me to take them back to the dealer and Mathew's would replace them. -
I have a question for someone who might know. While camping this summer I saw 2 different sets of guys with bags Soft Water Salt pellets heading into the forest. Do people actually use these to make Salt licks? Thanks Dennis

I agree with you Mark. while reading the responses posted on this I have come to one conclusion. As a group we are fractured. We point fingers and call each other names. I myself never used salt but I am considering it. I don't see how creating a salt lick is any different that sitting on the edge of a corn or clover field or water hole waiting for the deer to come in. I recently saw a dvd by Duane Adams on hunting the Kiabab and he discusses making a mineral bed. I am on this site and several others along with hundreds of other hunters like you. I don't always agree with what is said but if it is legal then we have a right as hunters to use any tool we can to help us be successful. If we don't want a change then we shouldn't just not talk about in hopes the commission will forget it. We need to come together as a group sign petitions contact our representatives and fight for our rights as hunters.

First of all Gamehauler I didn't bring this up to cause a problem. I don't see how this can fuel the fire when that is what this site is for. We are here to discuss hunting methods and sucess. I guess we need to quit posting our pictures of the animals taken also. I would think that also gives the antis something to complain about and use against us. They can copy those photos and show how cruel we are as hunters. I'm sorry but I just don't agree with your opinon.

We are hunting 6A west and the Bulls haven't been bugling much. We know of only 2 bulls killed so far. I had to come back to town until Wednesday but then will head back up and hunt until the season closes. We have Bull tags.

If any of you have a cow elk decoy you wish to part with please let me know.
