Anyone missing their optics?
-
I started out with the Vulture 15x56s due to budgetary restrictions, then moved up to the Viper 15x50s for their relatively low size/weight and recently moved to the Kaibab 15x56s. To me there is a noticeable difference in viewing quality. If you're fire/police/military GovX sometimes has terrific deals on Vortex

bowtech carbon icon dlx or any light weight bow
MattTucson replied to creed's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
If you're in Tucson Bull Basin carries the Bowtech Carbon Icon -
Have you checked out tarptent.com? I have the StratoSpire 1 and while it's definitely not as bombproof as a Hilliberg they are very lightweight and a fraction of the cost

https://www.rei.com/product/113206/leki-micro-vario-carbon-trekking-poles-pair Lightest weight ones I could find(I'm a weight weenie) and strong enough(this far) to support anything I throw at them. They collapse down to almost nothing as well, I'm extremely happy with them.

I use their lightweight tees as a base layer, layered with a zip up long sleeve traverse tee most days. Then their lite puffy vest for glassing because it insulates well and provides wind protection. Lastly their waterproof jacket over that if temps plummet or turn bad. Works well in Southern AZ thus far, good luck!

I love this pack but it seems it's been discontinued, I was looking at the Front pack which seems to be the Dragon Slayer's baby brother for scouting and light day trips

AGC is the Kodiak C.U.B. MAX, fits Viper 10x42s perfectly. Barely used, just selling my 10x42s so I won't be needing any bino harnesses.

Sounds like a great deal, you should jump on that. I've included a link to help you but unfortunately Amazon still wants $102 for the Badlands Mag Bino Harness in Approach Camo. I'd let mine go for less if you'd like to make an offer. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01B2E34IW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502814148&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=badlands+bino+case+mag&dpPl=1&dpID=41O3Lne6MwL&ref=plSrch
