FS: MDT LSS Chassis for Remington 700 SA

$400 shipped and insured as is, no magazines, or $350 for bare chassis without grip, buffer tube and butt stock.
  5. I am selling a chassis rifle I recently put together. This is a Howa 1500 barreled action. 22 inch barrel. According to Legacy, it is gun metal grey cerakoted; but, it is more of a matte stainless than a gun metal grey, in my opinion. I put a picatinny rail of un-remebered brand on it. It is mounted in an MDT LSS XL chassis and will come with one MDT magazine. The purchaser will have the option of buying up to 3 more magazines at $30 each. It has a Magpul PRS stock. The pictured scope, rings and bipod are not included. I am including 80 pieces of Hornady once fired (factory loads) brass. Even though there are 80 pieces of brass, most were fired from two other rifles that have since gone down the road. Only 20 rounds have been fired in this rifle. The entire package is "20 rounds old" and all parts were brand new when I put it together. It is a sub moa rifle for me and, as previously stated, that is with 20 rounds of factory loads. I need $900 shipped and insured at my expense.

FS: MDT LSS Chassis for Remington 700 SA

    $435 for chassis and magazine.
  7. Price now $870 shipped and I will ad two additional MDT magazines. That's $30 off my original price with $80 worth of additional magazines.
  8. I am selling a good to very good condition Remington 700 stainless in 30-06. It will come with the pictured Leopold bases and rings and the Nikon Buckmasters 3-9X40 (duplex) scope. It has various scrapes on the barrel, scrapes and scratches on the bottom metal and the scope has multiple scratches on the exterior. The glass is fine. I tried to capture all of that in the photos to be as honest in representation as possible. It clearly was no safe queen. This is one I obtained in a multi-rifle trade I did about a year ago and I never fired it until last weekend. The only reason I fired it last weekend was to be able to attempt to represent how it shoots. I fired ten rounds of factory ammo, five at 100 and five at 200 and made zero adjustments with the scope. The five at 100 were all touching making what appeared to be a four-bullet square of approximately 1/2 inch. The five fired at 200 yards made a group of about 2 1/4 inches. Hey, I'm a better shot at 100 than I am at 200. I will also include a set of RCBS dies and about 20 pieces of once fired brass. I need $600 shipped and insured at my expense. I think this is a pretty good deal; but, I will be doing a $10 per day price reduction until it sells.
  9. Funds received. This is a done deal.
  10. This is sold pending receipt of funds. I will still take backups as, even though this buyer sounds sincere, he has never done an online purchase of a gun and I am in the process of walking him through it.
  11. Now, $550 shipped and insured without Forster die. RCBS dies and brass still included at this price.
  12. From now until I return and start doing price reduction again, if someone wants to buy this at the current price, I will throw in a brand new, unused, Forster Seater Die. $75 value found at this link: http://www.forsterproducts.com/product/bench-rest-seater-dies/ When I start doing price reductions again, the Forster comes off the table.
  13. Now $560 shipped and insured. I will be leaving on vacation tomorrow and won't return until Tuesday the 30th. There won't be any price reductions between now and then while I am on vacation.
  14. $880 shipped and insured.
  15. I figure the way I have it priced, someone seeking an action can do just that. Additionally, someone more knowledgable than myself will know when it's priced at a point to justify them to do just that. Thanks for the input n2horns. I don't have the desire to try to sell a barrel and a stock and pay a smith to remove my barrel.
  16. Thanks for the good words LJSIII. I hope Josh is hitting at distance. Camofreak, I love the chassis. I have them on about 6 different guns right now. desertmafia21, to answer your question, using my bathroom scale, it weighs 8.2 pounds without the scope and rings and tripod (the form in which it's for sale). Not knowing the repeatability of my scale, I did it 5 times with me holding the rifle and 5 times without and came up the same every time. Additional information based upon a pm question, it is a 1 in 8 twist. I am also including the brand new, unused, factory matching bottom metal that came with the barreled action. It is the hinged floor plate, mag box and spring.

FS: MDT LSS Chassis for Remington 700 SA

I'll throw in an MDT magazine.
  18. I've done a number of sales like this and believe me, I've heard the same offers before. I tell everybody, I won't take it now; but, if you want to roll the dice and wait until it gets down to $400, $300, $200, roll the dice. I "THINK" I have them priced attractively from the get go; but, you never know. This way truly tells me what the market price is. I won't reserve it for anybody at any price; but, if it's still here in 59 days, yes, at that time I will sell it for $10. I'm hoping to get closer to the $600; but, I am a man of my word. This is more fun any way. Rumhunter84, yes, we can talk via pm. Just send me an offer that way without scope, bases and rings.

    What sunglasses do you wear?

Wiley-X. Stylish, protective and effective. And, they were issued to me by the Army.
  20. Thanks for the kind words GreyGhost85, I greatly appreciate it. desertmafia21, I don't know as I never weigh guns. If I think about it tonight, I will weigh it on the bathroom scale and let you know.

    cabelas coupon needed

Wade, Maybe you already thought of this; but, if you have an old Cabelas receipt, fill out their survey on line and you will get the exact coupon code you seek e-mailed to you. Or, if someone else has one, get their receipt number and fill out the survey online using that one and, once again, they will send you that exact coupon code. As far as I know, that is on every receipt they issue. Good luck.
