We like to do a lot of burro's and freeze them, usually last us 5 days or so. Breakfast and lunch. Usually bacon and egg and potato or something along those lines. For lunch green chilli, meat and beans kind of thing. I always throw in a few packs of tuna snickers bar or 2 and a bag of trail mix. Some other simple stuff we do is canned chicken and chicken flavored ramen " pretty darn good for what it is" PB&J and a lot of precooked meals, spaghetti, Chilli, grab a rotisserie and some peppers and a onion make burro's fairly easy and quick. Cheese and summer sausage is always good and easy as well. And no matter what you gotta have a steak and burger night or 2

X2 on the QAD I've seen way too many issues over the years with Ripcoard's. QAD is all we've been using for years and I've personally haven't had any issues with any of mine. Your defiantly getting some contact, either its not falling fast enough or its bouncing back up slightly, Id think more than likely the 1st. This close to season I would defiantly take it into a shop and see if they can adjust it to track properly then maybe down the road get you a different rest.

If its legal and you don't like it press on, how can something on a tree ruin your entire day..? maybe because you let it? That's what's wrong with a lot of things these days its only a issue because you make it. I quit worrying about stuff along time ago, always have a plan A/B/C ect... There isn't any secret spots and its everyone's woods. Just go out and have a good time If you area isn't what you like adapt and over come, A day in the woods is better than a day at work if you cant realize that maybe you need a new hobby?

A day in the hills beats any day of work, although snakes, bugs and the heat sucks. Were finally getting some decent rain out here so the bugs are out in full force. good luck in the weeks to come .

Anyone using a camera for capturing there photos and videos? Im currently using my smart phone but was looking at maybe getting a camera to use. I like the Tines up kit but not sure if that's the best route to go. Thoughts?

I wouldn't be to quick to discredit the " noise" there is a lot of solid info to help the OP get started off in the right direction. I'll agree there is nothing like working with someone 1 on 1, and or video taping one's self and asking is great as well. But you cant discredit the good input stated above. I'm sure a lot of people on here including myself have extensive archery knowledge and are more than willing to share whatever info we can to help people be more successful and confident in the field. As for myself I'm not going to pretend I know jack about rifles because I really don't still learning as I go. But like the OP by reading and listening I'm learning. A lot of the info given should help him if he's not able to get to a archery shop or find someone to help. Worst case watch some video's read a few magazines every little bit can help. I'm more than willing to help with whatever I can, id rather try and help the guy and better his chances then him be out there flinging arrows and loosing a animal or 2.

If your still looking to get a pack and are interested in the Badlands PM me...

Sounds like to me as stated above your dropping your arm. Anticipating your shot placement (trying to watch the arrow) a well executed shot should disappear in your pin when the bow goes off. You get that to happen your in the $$$. Other thing is make sure your not applying to much palm pressure and preloading your riser. Keep an eye on you bow level.
