My personal opinion is if it's not yours leave it alone. I always try to leave things as I found them. If it's on someone's land that's different. Some people like messing with everyones stiff and think they own the woods.

I can see the issue with live feed cameras, But myself I Enjoy Checking cameras and enjoy having another excuse to get out into the woods. I also run a Hunting page/Group by myself. 90% of my content comes from trail camera pictures. If there banned I guess ill have to find a new hobby. I think its sad that a few bad apples seem to ruin it for everyone else. Every year I find tree stands, cameras , other peoples areas, I just leave there stuff alone and go on about my business. Seems pretty simple but some people will never get it.

We see them from time to time, but to my knowledge there isn't a whole lot of them running around. I've had a few on camera here and there over the past few years. biggest group I've seen has been in the pass heading to Ft grant from Safford. but that was a few years back.

We have a spot down here by us that we have to glass into the sun a lot during the mornings, We try and locate as many deer as we can before the sun peeks over then move in to investigate. If we know there is a big buck in the area we will hold up in the spot and try and locate him or the group he's normally with. For some reason in this area they just prefer the west facing slopes. I also bring a towel or something and drape it over my hat helps me a lot being able to locate deer without the extra light coming in the sides.

We always have a burro or 2 in our packs, Usually green chili, and or what we call hamburger burros. I always throw in a snickers or 2, a small bag of trail mix and maybe some jerky. Plenty of water and you will never find me without a bottle of Body Armor. That stuff is a life savor if your putting the miles in.

Denson Brooks and his crew are having one I believe @ the main marina and or windy Hill cant remember. I know Each day is a separate weight day. So if people can shoot only one day it isn't too big of a deal. I was gunna go myself but the 2 boats I usually go on have stuff going on due to Easter.

Word is the next 2-3 weeks should be $$$, I know there's a tournament this weekend. I'm gunna try and make it but if not should be able to get some good feed back. If you got the time I say hit the water should be a good time especially if it stays warm.

Im fairly new to rifles and bought the wife one in hopes she would start hunting with me. I bought her a ruger American in the 6.5 and I think ive about got everything lined out but cant decide on what scope to get her. what do you guys think between these 3 scopes? Im new to rifles I have a AR but this will be my and her 1st just trying to get her something solid she can hunt with.

Maybe a dumb question but why would you want a 40mm-44mm over something like the Athlon that has the 50mm? Wouldn't that allow more light in? I know the tube has something to do with it as well or so I'm told. Not that I'm sold on that just trying to broaden my knowledge I honestly have no clue. You guys defiantly have me looking at something with a little less power. A lot of great points made. I'm going to have to look into the scopes you guys have mentioned and see if I cant make a trip and look through a few with her soon.

Great info guys, I never considered the issue with her being able to locate the animal as much as being able to clearly being able to pin point the crosshairs. The main reasons I went with those 3 is I see alot of others running the same and or close to the same set up with most of the 6.5s. I know all 3 of the scopes seem to be really nice for the price and have great warranty programs. Price will vairy I can get decent deals on each of the manufacturers listed. I don't want break the bank but would like to have her a solid set up. I think realistically a solid 700 yard gun would be great. Even something I could use to shoot some yoties or something. I'm sure I'd end up using the gun for deer or something myself down the road. Just trying to save my points here for a strip tag but New Mexico hunt would be fun... I greatly appreciate the help guys.

If your shopping for strings check out GAS strings I just got a set on my bow and there awesome. put them on let them set on the draw board over night and haven't had it move at all. Great set of strings.

Qad hands down, as far as a sight you could maybe find a 7 Deadly used? that would be your best bet. Or a Montana black gold new and or used and have them throw in 2 more pins? would also give you a slider option. I'm using a 3 pin myself 30-50 and can slide out to 115

We do a lot of stuffed peppers, or zucchini boats. I also enjoy making lettuce wraps usually make them like I would a street taco with steak or ground meat. also spaghetti squash spaghetti it legit.
