John anderson, I wish I could've been there. My kids are gonna have a bit of a hike in front of them before they can spread my ashes.

I started with a bench top lathe and mill in a 2 car garage. Kept reinvesting & reinvesting. .. 10 or 11 years later I have an rv garage with 2 cnc mills, a cnc lathe, and a hardinge chucker. For me its a dream come true. I like being able to make whatever I want whenever I want, but most of the time I make what other people want. I dont think anyone has ever regretted building their own shop. Keep at it guys! -

I dont know anything about vfds but ive been running equipment off a rotary for about 10 years now at anywhere from 50 - 100 hours per month with no trouble at all. The one I bought had a chart that sized them by the hp of the machine, so I just bought what the chart said to get and it works great. -
Ive met a half dozen or so and all struck me as good folks. Something about this site...

Drone fishing.... that could be interesting. I have to admit though, I'd be the one guy in the crowd that was waiting to see a 10 lb. large mouth grab ahold of that lure and drag that drone right under that water.

One of my favorite westerns. Django had some entertainment value, and Leonardo DiCaprio was pretty good in it, but im having a hard time classifying anything from Quentin Tarantino as a western. Just another blood & gore shoot fest fantasy film that happened to be set in the old west.

Gee nobody saw that coming....

I'm sure it's to increase opportunity.

Good luck to him, I hope he drops a monster. I can't imagine waiting that long for a tag... if he doesn't deserve one, nobody does.

That's definetely a new record. Mods: better shut this one down now, before the haters start hatin.
-
Seems like that could be easily opened with a brick and a moderate application of force.

Thats a record book jackalope. Nice!

That's a nice one. congrats!

That's a pretty impressive time for hauling that kind of weight. Nice work.

Since I didn't get drawn you should take me. Ill pack a camp in. Get an elk we'll pack it out on a mule. *Did I mention I know where the bulls hang in 22S?* Hard to beat an offer like that. If that's open for everyone, I may start putting 22s on my app. Always wanted to pack in on horses & mules... and my feet are getting tired as I get older.

That's a helluva good looking lab, and it looks like he knows his business. Welcome to the site! -
You really dont have to go that far at all to lose basically everybody. All the quad guys stop at the trailhead and turn around.

All joking aside, I've got the mix like everyone. Some $8 walmart camo tees that still get worn and some $200 plus sitka pants. All my sitka gear is still in use, even the old 'moth wing' stuff I bought back in 07. Ive had to stitch them once or twice courtesy of good ole az catclaw, but their still going strong. If I had to rank my priorities for spending money on hunting gear, id put good warm clothing ahead of everything, then a good sleeping bag, optics, and weapon last. You can literally kill a deer with almost anything, but you wont kill anything ever if you cant stay outside and last through the nasty stuff.

Ps make sure you stop at starbucks (nyse: sbux) and pick up a $10 cup of liquid diabetes topped with cool whip while youre out shopping.

As a share holder of Under Armour (NYSE: UA), I demand that all you naysayers log off your i-phones, get your coin purse back out of your wife's purse, yank your credit card out of your wallet, and go buy some fancy pants and jackets! How the heck am I supposed to retire with you all acting responsible with money and what not!

I dont know trumps entire financial history. What I read was that his dad who had a worth of around 100million, gave him 1 million and he went from there with real estate investments. Regardless of how much his daddy gave him, a guy with 100 mil cannot possibly give his son 5 billion. Trump put himself in the billionaire club. Thats the guy I want running my economy, not hillary or sanders.
