The president can propose it, but it'll never pass congress or hold up to the supreme court. Totally unconstitutional to revoke a persons rights without due process. Keeping them off airplanes? Sure, you dont have a right to fly any where. You do have a right to keep and bare arms. This is exactly why our founding fathers set up a government with checks and balances.

Awesome trophy! Congrats!

Sorry I should have talked about my previous game trail post I did a few weeks back where I had 4 different bucks coming in daily. The area you described is about .2 miles south in a transition area. I have been dreaming about getting these bucks on my camera cause I seem to see them every late season elk hunt and a few real nice bucks call this place home. You gettin coues, muleys or both? Most of my muley experience is out of 27 in the thick timber above the 8000 ft mark. I've been working cameras over there for about 10 years now and it's always the same story. Nice size herds with some nice bucks through the spring, then around this time when the does break up the herd and meander off on their own to drop their fawns the bucks that were following them around scatter. By the time the hunt starts up in August the does have formed back up into some smaller herds that might have a couple spikes or forkies hanging around, but the big boys are gone. I usually find them hanging out on or near steep stuff that's no good for little fawns, leaving the flatter ridge tops & meadows for the does. The elk also prefer the doe country. There's some bucks that meander around and show up on cam from time to time, but good luck figuring them out.

You are in doe territory my friend. Lots of does and elk. Find a steep south facing drop off with a flat area right on top and you will find your bucks summer range.

They buy $20 worth of tickets and $5.00 worth of gas Yup and if it's at Circle K forget about it..And while we are at it lets just all admit that Circle K's piss us off too! I cringe when I have to go inside a Circle K. QT does it right! They hire young enthusiastic cashiers who are ready to work and move with a passion! They even make them cover up any visible tattoo's, unlike Circle K who's cashiers look like retired cholos or meth heads from Apache Junction. My oldest girl worked there all through high school. For a gas station, its a really squared away business. Tuition reimbursement program, promotion opportunities, bonus pay for referring new employees and not a bad hourly wage for high school kids. I think she was making around $9.50 when she graduated.

Liberty is a great bow. I had a hard time deciding between that one and a black ice. I went with the black ice in '09 and we're still knocking things dead 7 years later. Love those diamond bows!

I can't say I've ever heard someone credit God for being broke? And even if they do, how is that hypocritical exactly?? Ive known more than one that wont do a thing or make a good decision to help themselves, theyre content to right it off as 'gods will'. Thats not hypocricy, thats just stupid. The hypocricy is when said people go on binges, act beligerent towards others who dont share their beliefs, and generally speaking use their religion as a pedistal to look down on and judge other people when they theselves are actually the aholes in the equation.
-
I can't stand the hypocrictal holy rollers that are constantly crediting God & his plan for the fact that they're broke and struggle financially. Instead of praying for a miracle, try starting a savings account and stop pissing away $10 a day on crap from the gas station.

I also don't think my jeep really effects my success rate, but it sure did help me get fatter. After owning it the last 7 years, I just can't believe some of the places I used to walk to!

Ive hauled a couple critters home in the trunk of an old Nissan altima. Theres plenty of good country right along the side of highways and most people just drive on by it.

I'm sure youre stressing over it and it seems like a hassle, but stuff like this has to make you pause and thank God we live in the time we do where they know so much and they have as many different testing options now. 50 years ago, you're doc would've looked at it, scratched his head & said, "hellif I know what it is, let's cut it open 'en have a look..." Hang in there bud, you'll be fine.

They should at least cut off the zip tie and lose the block before disposing of the carcass. in the facebook/twitter/snapchat/pussified/reactionary america we now live in, nondescript images and emotional diarrhea means a lot more than facts.

That lambo looked like the driver couldn't find the gas pedal. The truck is b.a. but the video looks more than a little scripted.

Escudilla and Baldy next?
mattys281 replied to billrquimby's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Im against it too. I spend too much time in 27 and am fine with seeing black bears every year, but I have no desire to be on the look out for their plus size cousins. I hike in and out in the dark and am already constantly checking my back trail over the cats and blackies, those wyoming and Montana boys can keep the brownies. -
I think I would try to shoot the gorilla, but accidently miss by 18" or so....

You are your childrens' hero. Never forget it and always conduct yourself accordingly. I didn't have a dad when I was growing up, so my gradpa was my hero. I don't remember ever being hung up on an athlete or superhero, but papa was the biggest man alive. We didn't lose him in combat, old age took him. But he went to war for us.

That's a tough call to comment on when none of us saw it. I know when I was a kid, I didn't have any trouble finding my way into mischief, but fortunately I survived it... at least I think I did.

RIP our fallen heroes.

Looks like a helluva season. Congrats to you guys on the successful hunt!

I dont know exactly how big it was, but I saw one south of safford years ago on the way up to riggs lake that was definitely over 7 feet and probably closed to 4" diameter. Biggest wild snake I ever saw, slithering across the road in front off us. Had to stop and wait for him to get across. I guess he was earning a real good living off thos endangered mt graham squirrels they have up there.
