Good for you. Best reason there is to sell anything. There's not too many feelings that are sweeter than getting your pay check and being able to keep it! Good luck with you sale.

Great mount of an awesome buck! Makes me more than a little envious. Congrats.

Nice! Looks like a good variety of critters.

It has been recognized and written about by many scientists from different fields that there are too many people on the planet. The problem is that nobody wants to volunteer to leave. As for bringing more people in, I think the main reason you'll never seen a restructuring to immigration or any kind of population control laws has a lot more to do with wall street than it does Washington. The last thing people in the business of selling goods and services want is to see their market of prospective customers be reduced. Its all about gdp. If you cant export it, then you have to find a way to sell more domestically, and everyone knows we're not good at exporting. Hence we need more people to come here and buy our nike shoes, drink our starbucks coffees, and drive our ford trucks. Corporations are the puppet master, always have been and always will be.

I picked up a nice crossman 1200fps .177 model with a suppressor and a 2 stage trigger on sale at big 5 for $85 a couple months ago. This thing is a tack driver at 20 yards and quickly fixed my pigeon problems. Of cours I threw away the p.o.s. 4x scope it came with and mounted up a larger 9x p.o.s. bushnell that came off a .243 kit I bought a few years ago. This little air rifle is fun, I cant wait to kill some squirrels and/or rabbits with it this fall. Some times its worth checking those sales flyers before you toss them in the recycling bin.

Not much gap between his belly and the ground, looks like a pretty good one to me.

I also often go without the fire, but it's more laziness than fear of scent. I think the smoke is actually a great cover scent and I've never seen a deer spook from it. Just the opposite actually, I've had coues & mulies both walk into my camp in the Mazatzal wilderness & look right at me sitting next to fire 10 yards away like they had no idea what the heck I was or what I was doing there. smoke is actually a natural cleansing agent, as it kills the bacteria that causes human b.o. If you're out for an extended period, you can through some green juniper on your fire with the leaves and smoke-clean your clothes. Better smoke than sweat. I usually just carry a 1 gal plastic bag with a 1/2" thick stack of scentless baby wipes & a small bottle of scent killer spray though. Spray your clothes at the end of the day and lay them flat between your thermarest pad and your sleeping bag, they will be dry and warm in the morning when you need to slip them on.

Nice work. That's an awesome muley. I love the crab claw on that left side!

There's only one guy it could be:

I carry a lightweight set of base layers for sleeping in. You will sweat up your hunting clothes if you sleep in them.

Look like does to me too. Welcome to the site!

All big cities suck. People are too busy to pay any consideration to anyone else. My family moved to Prescott Valley, Az. from Santee, ca. (small town near San Diego) in 1991 when I was 13 y.o. At that point, P.V. was still a little hill-billy town in the middle of the prairie. No sidewalks, only 2 paved roads in town. My brothers & I couldn't believe how people acted. Everyone waving to you and wanting to talk to you and stuff.... WEIRD! And when you were walking down the side of the road, people coming up behind you would veer way over to the other side of the road to go around you, and then wave as they passed. At the time, we though our parents moved us to some backwoods town full of half wits, but now that I'm all growed-up and have been living in the arm-pit of heck (aka Phoenix) for many years, I realize it was the best place in the world at that time. Lots of hunting, hiking, fishing... we'd ride our bikes out of town to the fields with .22's slung over our back and nobody ever said any more than 'you boys be careful wiht those'. Hopefully, when I get a little closer to retirement, I'll be able to find some hill-billy town like that were people are still nice to each other.

I think it's the heat. People are constantly uncomfortable, which makes them edgy. Nobody likes getting cooked constantly and running from a/c to a/c.

Sounds like he'll have the problem fixed in a few weeks.

Congrats on some great bucks! Cant wait for deer season!

Good news. Im glad for you.

I'll have to dig out some old 27 trail cam pics for you guys. Lot of nice bulls in there.

. There were 14-15 candidates running. Including some very conservative ones. The people picked Trump. Second place was Cruz. Two guys the establishment hates. That is a good sign to me. Amen to that. As far as im concerned there should be no such thing as a career politician. Term limits on every elected position.

You been down at the bar hoggin again? I haven't been going, I alread have 2 hogs on rotation at the moment. you want to go to denim later or what? Nah, my hoggin days are over. Im married and settled down. But feel free to forward some pics so I can live vicariously through you. Please don't. I still have images burned into my skull from other pics posted on here. this one girl i was seeing, nice body but face....only a mother could love. If that's any kind of a problem for you at all, that's a sure sign that you're not drinking enough beers after work.

No. I may have heard before and just forgotten - how long has this been floated? Something new? They sure do look alike. its been out for a while just kept quiet i guess. i stumbled on it today some how lol. How great would that be to see slick willy jump up and start dancing around when jerry springer opens the envelope and says, "the results are back.... and they say.... she is NOT your child!"

In advance - all respect and no offense intended. Do you still get to work with Americans? You're lucky. And I'm shocked because most of the Americans I know are extremely hard workers and don't have that sense of entitlement. Quite the opposite. Its others that seem to feel entitled and have no American values. Sorry - I'm not voting for idiocy for the next 4. I hope you are not either. Lonne After about 6 years as the GM of a 40+ person aerospace shop, I stepped down from my position last year and went to a smaller company where I'm now employed as an engineer/cnc programmer. A big part of my decision to leave was due to burn out on years of dealing with people. We had some good guys that were dependable as could be, but there were plenty of others that were not. Without getting into too much gritty detail, let's just say my observation is the split is probably about 50/50 between people that actually give a poop and want to do a good job and the people that don't care and do the bare minimum to just not get fired, and then are shocked when they don't get a raise at the year end review. And this 50/50 is among the people that are actually working. Add on the unemployed and life long welfare recipients and the 'don't give a crap, just give me money' number goes waaaaaaaaaaay up. But that's just my observation, having been in charge of a relatively small business. The silver lining as I see it though is this: in the 12 years since I moved to Phoenix, my income level has gone up almost 800%. I attribute that almost entirely to the fact that there's not much competition. I don't have to be smarter or work harder than every other person, I just have to work harder than about 20%, because that's all the more that actually show up on time every day anyhow. I will certainly be voting for Trump this fall. He's far from a perfect candidate, but he is certainly the one that I think will do the most for those of us that sweat and want to get ahead.

Agreed, but everything you just mentioned is people related. Chit bags voting for chit bags that appoint chit bags to the court. the system is fine, its the peoeple in the system that are broke. People actually villify successful people now. 'Their taking advantage of us!' They scream. Really? Its the victim / entitlement mentality through and through. You want to fix this country, quit giving kids trophies just for showing up, and stsrt telling them that being successful/rich is not a bad thing, but just the opposite: its fricking awesome! I think hillary is the most evil, corrupt, despicable thing I've ever seen in my lifetime and absolutely abhor the thought of her winning, but she, and her ilk, are not the sickness. They're the symptom. Politicians have been corrupt vote panderers since before rome had its first senate meeting a couple thousand years ago. Socrates wrote about corruption. This is nothing new. Our country founded on entrepreneurship and formed specifically to encourage capitalism is what was new, but the common mentality is not conducive of that anymore. Or was it ever? Hippies. Hobos. Theres always a portion that doesn't bother to do for themselves.
-
I dont believe anyone ever will be able to'fix' this country, because frankly I dont think its broken. Our government is still operating just fine, as it was intended. The problem is that the american psyche is broken. Entitlement, laziness, and a complete lack of personal responsibility are the most common traits now, and our elected representatives do represent that, dont they? America doesnt need fixing, Americans do. This country is still the best deal going if a person wants to have the opportunity to work their butt off and get ahead. Im doing it. So are many of you that work two jobs, or start your own business, or invest in your education to further yourself. Just keep at it, hope and pray for better days, vote for what you think is best, and be prepared to ride out the dips. Warren buffet said, "I like to invest in companies that are so good even an idiot can run them, because sooner or later, one will." Thats the united states. We just survived 8 years of idiocy, and the odds are good we have another 4 ahead.
