Youve got 'upper management' written all over you! -
Wow, nice work! I can almost see the steam shooting out of his nostrils.

+1 That was my thought too. You beat me to it. guess I'm getting old and out of touch.... -
I think you guys may be overthinking this a little. All you have to do is buy a lion tag and staple it to the tree you camera is on. that lion will never come back within a mile of your spot.

sounds like an awesome hunt. Way to stick with him and make something happen, congrats on a hard earned trophy!

Man you have some awesome pics! A couple years ago I boughtsome of those moultries that are supposed to last up to a year on 8 batteries and set it out on a fence crossing of a hot trail. It was a 3 hour hike in and I was nust sure id be safe and getting some awesome, unkown coues bucks on cam. After about 8 months I went in to get it, only to find that a lightning flash had scrambled it and after 6 total hours of hiking and 8 months of waiting I had nothing but a fried memory card.... Im glad your story ended on a happier note.

Do some blind bail shooting for a couple days. That shoud get you back on the ball.

Could be a winddrift contribution too. Your arrow has shed a ton of forward velocity by the time it hits the 100yard mark, so it will be drifting at a great ratio compared to forward travel.

Most likely form. The further out you are the more a small flinch or torque becomes critical. That 6" miss would only be 3" at 50.

Hard to go wrong with something that Toyota makes. Nice rig! -
Nice looking setup. Whats the price on those? Im still using the winners choice strings and theyre pretty steep, I wouldnt mind finding a cheaper equivalent.

For over a half century, Russia and the Soviet Block nations have been sponsoring and training their nations best athletes. They are nothing less than professional athletes. So why can't we send our best athletes to compete with theirs? Thats how I always looked at it. Its supposed to be our country's best against their country's best. Their occupation should not be a factor.

You had no option in the situation and did the only thing you could. It's amazing how many times in management you have to protect your employees from themselves. The only thing they'll ever think is 'this is BS, I should be able to do whatever I want, blah, blah blah!' Most will never even consider the fact that something like that could blow up into a lost contract next time around, which hits payroll, which can mean layoffs. If I had a nickel for every time I every time I had to sit down a 'grown man' or several 'men' and explain simple cause & effect consequences of their actions, I'd probably already be retired. Makes me thank God I'm not in management any more! But for the record, that Fat Linda does need a good ole Texas throat flick. You kinda have to expect guys to be guys when they're on a work crew surrounded by other guys.... I hope her poor delicate soul never steps foot into a machine shop.

You raise a valid point, but I can't stay awake long enough to get past the taste zone anyway. I honestly can't remember the last time I finished a six pack in one go... guess it's a good goal for this weekend.

I've made a helluva a lot of sacrifices to be successful at different things in this world, but you just drew a line I can't cross. I'd rather be play a vigorous game of bag-tag with John Cena in the middle of a roid-rage than drink light beer.

I picked up a little slik tripod from Archery HQ a few years ago. The tripod complete with head and 2 plates was I think in the $100-120 range. It does well with 10x & 12x glass on it, but it's a little light weight for 15x minox or a spotter. It's very light weight and has rode for many miles on my pack.

Did you ever try any of the insoles like dr. Scholtz or good feet? I busted my heel up pretty good at the beginning of the year stomping firewood and ended up getting some of those dr scholtz gel pad things. Man what a difference! yes they do ok. I'm stepping it up this year and plan on having a custome pair of insoles made by a podiatrist. I have heard very good things about them and even though they are gonna be expensive I feel I can't go wrong. Nice let us know how they work. The older I get the more trouble I have with feet, knees and back. Should've been smarter in my teens and twenties I guess. -

Awesome bulls! Thanks for sharing the pics.

That sounds really good, and like I said, there is absolutely no urgency at all. I only punch paper with it anyway, and the last year has been so busy it's been a safe queen. I'm heading out for a two week road trip with the family at the end of the month, so I'll get in touch with you when we get back & we can work out an arrangement. Thanks. Matt

wow, you got some nice ones comin in. Good luck!

Some people just aren't happy unless they're messing with somebody else. It has nothing at all to do with their 'cause' or whatever, they just like to feel powerful by screwing with others and making people conform to their wishes. Imagine how proud that sow was with herself when she saw that truck leave. Probably couldn't wait to share with all her social media friends what a warrior of feminism she is. Pathetic.
